lmfao imagine actually believe this. just come up with better arguments or spend like a few minutes on google to not look like a moron, its not that hard.
I think its debatable whether it's even tragic, they both follow their dreams and get what they want and are happy, it just meant they couldn't be together.
>It has the worst ending
The frick, i have forgotten the ending of like every movie I watched since La La Land came out. Thats one of the few endings to movies that stick out
Maybe you disliked it because it felt like cucking, even though they both agreed to split up. But it was realistic, shit goes wrong in real life, and it would've been a romance movie more in the bunch with a happy ever after ending. I felt like the ending was bittersweet, since they both got success even while being apart.
i want a romance movie though and if they dont end up together then wtf. she ends up with another guy? well then make a movie about their love story. not showing it just implies what we all think about these things which is just that he was rich and tall and good looking so she married him and thats really cynical and undercuts the entire movie you were just watching
His opinion is equivalent to normalgays always expecting the good guys to win on their capeshit

We go see movies to watch the good guys win. And a lot of other Jungian archetypical bullshit that goes straight to our lizard brains. And a love story where the couple doesnt end up together is like a Michael Bay movie without sexy women and explosions. There wouldn't be much point to it and I don't think Id be a pleb for noticing.
>what we all think about these things which is just that he was rich and tall and good looking so she married him
Well, I didn't think that. Life goes on, they had to go on different paths and she found someone else, that's it. I feel like you're projecting too much, Sebastian was attractive himself so that implication is dumb, they didn't part ways because he wasn't good enough. I guess this is what happens when you watch romance movies just to self insert.
i had a very unfortunate opinion of the goose's body of work because i though they were all, i don't remember the name, like that one with steve carrell where the girl tells him it's like he's photoshopped. i believe, without having seen this one, this movie is another one like that, and i will never see it
it does kind of blow its load early on. another day of sun and someone in the crowd are great little numbers but from that point on its just a bunch of duets and the duets kind of suck because gosling and stone arent really great singers
It's incredibly schmaltzy, like mind-numbingly schmaltzy.
You can tell it was made to fish for awards from a bunch of 70something old Hollywood frickers who want to "remember" some romanticized version of the shithole of Hollywood that doesn't actually exist.
I really liked it but I don't know if I could watch it again because the ending hit me too hard in the feels, I literally said nothing for about 40 minutes afterwards on the way home from the kinoplex
yeah i hate musicals and shit like that and i really enjoyed this movie
Alright, I'll give it a shot then.
If it doesn't have Goose in it I'm not interested.
>If it doesn't have Goose in it I'm not interested
Oh so you’re GAY gay, you’ll love that film then kek
i turned it off after like 30 mins
Just watch The Umbrellas of Cherbourg instead of this Hollywood schlock
You're trying too hard.
>one of the most popular musicals ever made
>la la land literally copies it
>trying too hard
You're just being an irritating homosexual. If Umbrellas of Cherbourg were mainstream and not foreign, you'd probably hate it.
>If Umbrellas of Cherbourg were mainstream
It already is mainstream and extremely popular.
>its foreign so its “obscure”
You’re American aren’t you?
Shiterion Collection is not mainstream.
lmfao imagine actually believe this. just come up with better arguments or spend like a few minutes on google to not look like a moron, its not that hard.
This OP.
Trying too hard would be recommending Lola which is even better
that movie made me cry and i hate musicals
Watch Les Miserables instead or Oliver Twist. This movie is for gays.
I don't want to watch a musical in particular, I want to watch Goose.
I mean if you want to watch Goose then watch it. He actually played the piano in the movie which is impressive, and I thought his character was nice.
>Hollywood makes a movie about how great Hollywood is
It's really well done, actually has excellent songs, and has a moving 10/10 ending. The only musical I like.
>not liking blues brothers
What a gay
It has the worst ending.
Not good or romantic
weak. tragic endings are kino
I think its debatable whether it's even tragic, they both follow their dreams and get what they want and are happy, it just meant they couldn't be together.

I loved it. Probably the best musical since the South Park movie
some people will see this as a diss but I unironically think the South Park movie is amazing.
It wasn’t meant to be a diss, it’s an amazing movie
yeah its kino but its not very good
i had a very unfortunate opinion of the goose's body of work because i though they were all, i don't remember the name, like that one with steve carrell where the girl tells him it's like he's photoshopped. i believe, without having seen this one, this movie is another one like that, and i will never see it
Its not bad if you can tolerate musicals. I didnt regret spending my time watching it but thats about the most praise it gets.
>has a very impressive music and dance number in the first 20 minutes
>not much after that
>can't even remember the plot
>in the first 20 minutes
Which one is it? I suppose you don't mean the first one, it was the most pointless one.
it does kind of blow its load early on. another day of sun and someone in the crowd are great little numbers but from that point on its just a bunch of duets and the duets kind of suck because gosling and stone arent really great singers
goose gets cucked in the end, cuckkino
the movie is unbearable garbage for 90% of the runtime, but you have to suffer through it to fully appreciate the pure kino that is the final 10%
>35 minutes in
>it's ridiculous
>it sucks
wow,
It's incredibly schmaltzy, like mind-numbingly schmaltzy.

Their stance is forming a satanic goat head.
meds
He's right.
Stopped watching 20 mins in
op here. 1 hour in. whew lads.
>whew
oof way to out yourself
It doesn't glamorize Hollywood.
I really liked it but I don't know if I could watch it again because the ending hit me too hard in the feels, I literally said nothing for about 40 minutes afterwards on the way home from the kinoplex
It’s ultimately a musical film starring two people who can’t sing or dance that well.
Watch The Nice Guys, LaLALand is a goose flick for the women, The Nice Guys is one you'll like much more
finished it. I cried.
>frog55.jpg
>frog8.jpg

It sucks ass.
It's cool. Looks really great, memorable songs and it'll make you feel something for a couple of hours.
>like gosling
>also havent seen this

>lots of people singing on a highway
