It's not outright stated, but later in the episode it's heavily implied that seeing Chilli with her children was just too hard for her knowing she could never have any, so she kind of isolated herself.

Yeah its fricking dark as frick for a kids show. Theres lots of sybtle moments in the show aimed at parents. One of my fave is the Bingo episode. The dad makes a small single choice to be later dropping off bluey just to do a tiny game with Bingo when dropping her off at nursery and it results in her having a lifelong friendship from that tiny moment. It really hits you if you are a parent of guilt if you skip such moments.

The world is not a grimdark hellscape like you perceive it. Rainbow baby comes from how a rainbows tend to happen after the rain though its not guaranteed.
Since you have autism I'll explain it a bit more. Rain and gloominess of a rainy day are associated with sadness. The rainbow is a moment of happiness in what was until that moment a bleak event.

100% gonna be an incel as a teenager and then troon tf out after being groomed by some pedophiles he met playing online games. He's gonna be incredibly isolated and alone as a teenager, coax him into going out hiking and getting into sports in middle school, or joining band or clubs so he'll have a social life outside of discord or whatever messaging service kids will be using by then.

Yeah that's what I'm worried about. And yeah, I've tried but he just doesn't care about anything, he doesn't want to talk about anything or do anything except Fortnite. He's too far gone already and he's only 7. Like I said, fricked. My cousin and her husband are lazy fat buttholes who don't discipline their kids at all, so there is nothing I can really do.

            Anonymous

Naw bro he's fricked right now but as a teenager, he might begin to have some wherewithal about himself and his situation and be more open to changing his life direction and beliefs. A lot of teenagers want guidance and irl role models to emulate.

              Anonymous

Not that anon but my teenage years are when I started behaving like that, if the kid is like that already (half the age I started) he is most likely going to be very stunted. He is supposed to be learning new information and skills at that age when it comes easily, but instead he's having his dopamine receptors fried out. Not sleeping or eating well as a child also stunts your growth, so he will likely be an emotionally immature manlet as a teen, who hangs out with other moronic nerds and never gets a gf, and then become a weird creepy adult man who never gets laid.

Not an argument. 4th wall breaks are one of the laziest forms of humor. When I'm watching a movie or a show, I don't want to be reminded I'm watching a show and be taken out of the story.

You don't even know what terms means, since that isn't a fourth wall break and is just meta humor.

    It's not.
MLP is a show for little girls about girl problems where they chatter a million miles a minute and have girly adventures. If you like the show (beyond simple aesthetic appreciation) and are not a little girl-- there's something wrong with you.
Bluey is a show for preschoolers loaded with a mixture of sentimentality and truth bombs related to parenthood and real childhood.

You can't compare an adult's show to a kids show though. Obviously, MLP will have the leg-up because it can address serious themes that Bluey can't with kids.

Ironically when Bluey hits adult themes they are usually much deeper and more profound than MLP, even if done with subtext. Show me a 8 minutes of MLP that will provoke reflection of your entire life and its meaning better than "Flat Pack."

Letting your kids watch cartoons is really just for absolute dog shit parents who hate their lives and their child. So they hook their kid on cartoons so they can sit back and mindlessly stare at their phone. Only bad parents will try to argue this

Having bad parents severely handicaps you. Obviously you should take control to the best of your ability, but if you have bad parents then you are going to have a very difficult time in life, that's a proven fact. Because in the first few years of your life, almost all the information you absorb will be from moronic, shitty people you shouldn't be absorbing information from.

I was obsessed with these Scottish children's VHS when I was a toddler, particularly the Peter Rabbit one, and it affected me. I wouldn't use the accent or words out loud because I was neurotypical enough to realize no one talked that way IRL, but I would think with them, for example "laddies and lassies" for boys and girls. Didn't even know that was a Scottish accent for a long time, just thought it was a funny way the people on the tape talked.
