Is it really possible to suspend your disbelief while marathoning a kinografi? I have never been able to do it.

Is it really possible to suspend your disbelief while marathoning a kinografié? I have never been able to do it.
Does it depend on the camerawork? On the actors? Or unironically on the acting? Or is it just a matter of the way your environment is set up?

You jerk off too much so your ability to have mental endurance is shot.

      Well, no.
My problem is that I still am aware of the outside world while watching my kinoés. I want to go INSIDE the kinö.

Stop jerking off so much so you can have the mental endurance to stay inside the kino.

What breaks your immersion? I dont have a problem if I am interested in the movie. The less I like it, the more my belif is suspended and then I start thinking about other things. But for the most part, the music, dialogue, acting, cinematography if they are good, they keep me interested the film.

I just never feel like a part of the world. I feel like a fake observer and then I remember that these are actors and I keep thinking about the ways they must have shot the movie and how many takes they must have done and how they are just strangers that work for money

Anything that has a lot of dialogue, really. I don't like shooty bang bang.
I recently watched "Arctic Ascent", it's a documentary-thing about rock climbing in Greenland and I enjoyed it.

    >I have never been able to do it.

It should be night. Dark as possible of a room. No need of drink or food. A comfortable seat. Maybe a light blue light filter on the screen, but not too much.

As far as content, it's context. Things that aren't necessarily aiming for 1:1 verisimilitude shouldn't require it. Sometimes it's less self-insertion receptivity of the material than the experience of the characters being situationally sympathetic or otherwise compelling.

You're an aspergers piece of human trash which is why you can't understand the emotion or meaning in a narrative work. Sorry, you were born wrong and you'll never function as a real person.

Doesn't even make sense. You're the soulless aspergers zoomer trash complaining how you can't hold enough of an attention span for any film. You brought this shame cascade on yourself.

Oh, I do have the attention span for films. It's just that they're not as immersive as I want them to be.
If you actually learnt how to read in school, you wouldn't be hurling moronic insults. It's just sad.

I'm glad I waited 40 minutes for that garbage reply. If you think movies are worthless, then use a different board. Problem solved. I need to go filter threads now.
