I've actually heard multiple people say this but I've never actually seen for myself, but the fact that it was multiple Simpsons fans saying it gives me a little hope that claim has some merit
I genuinely forgot i was subscribed to this guy and when i decided to watch one of his videos (Fear & Hunger) i dipped out in the first 3 minutes. I was invested but his tone of "THIS IS THE MOST DISTURBING THING I HAVE EVER SEEN" was annoying.
His style really devolved into "this is the most "thing" I've ever experience" feels like every reviewer in youtube eventually becomes caricature of themselves.
They do some really interesting things nowadays. Not every episode is like this, but there are some episodes you should check out. The energy and age of the voice actors kind of take me out of it though, especially Marge.
tl;dr for the video >Zombie Simpsons was what it was because it prioritized cramming in as much jokes and gags as possible over an episode's actual plot and characters >COVID led to a revamp of the show's creative process which allowed the writers to have more say in each individual episode and incentivized more experimental and personal stories rather than solely focusing on jokes for Season 33 and 34 >Highlights of seasons 33 and 34 include Lisa the Boy Scout, Treehouse of Horror XXXIII, Pixelated and Afraid, and A Serious Flanders, the latter two episodes being special because they're fairly dramatic and character driven rather than feeling like a sitcom >Overall it's just a 7/10, there's still some shit episodes and it's not golden age peak but it does leave hope for the Simpsons to actually grow and try new things rather than just trying to replicate what made it work 30 years ago

That's always my problem with these gays. They think people love classic Simpsons because its plots and characters. Yes, those things were great, but most people loved the show thanks to its greats jokes. A sappy/experimental episode with some character development is still shit if its jokes are awful.
It was everything

Character Development doesn't mean shit either if the next episode it's all back to status quo and all the characters are making shitty pop culture jokes again. Is it interesting that 34 seasons later we can get one or two Simpsons episodes that truly break the mold? Kinda. But does it matter at all? Frick no. A gritty, heartfelt, serious episode about Homer and Marge's relationship or Flander's in an unironic lethal crime drama is the domain of super autistic fan comics and fanfics. The quality of such things is largely dependent on their novelty as outsider creations.
The Simpsons was always a status quo show even back when it was good, so I don't know what your point is. That didn't stop the more serious episodes of the golden age from being good.
The more serious episodes were still grounded in the general tone and themes of the show and were still far less serious than a 2-parter where characters are shot and killed on screen.
This guy and his videos are shit, but I agree with a lot of the basic points of the video and know a lot of other people do.
It's more a testament to how epically horrible Zombie Simpsons and Zombie Family Guy are/were than a comment that it's that fantastic considered independently much less saying it's anywhere near Classic Simpsons.
But consider this: Zombie Simpsons and Zombie Family Guy are just such an utter entertainment wasteland. Zombie Simpsons is NEVER funny and Zombie Family Guy you can pick one funny joke from each episode. Family Guy never had anything beyond its humor while Zombie Simpsons lost everything it had besides just jokes in its classic days, too.
You only really need a mediocre meh funny show OR a show that makes some bare effort to put in creativity to be better than those black holes. Just by giving the slightest shit, it's like Shakespeare compared to the past two decades of Simpsons. I don't know if it will be that funny again, but actually, the latest Treehouse of Horror made me laugh m8re than Zombie Family Guy does, which is basically never. So compared to slop it is great.
That is a complete lie and headcanon by him. Zombie Simpsons is a decline in the writing staff quality and the push to just make the easiest dumbest jokes possible.
Covid did not lead to a revamp in the shows process they were already working towards more episodes like this. The future episode from like a decade ago that was received well is what started this push and every season since they tried to include more episodes like that. Unfortunately what it has turned into is episodes that don't even try to focus on jokes just to try and make you feel sad because if the episode can make you feel an emotion other than boredom its considered good.
Lisa the Boy Scout and last years treehouse of horror are made by people who actually seem to like the Simpsons and Simpsons online meme culture so they lean into it. They are funny because its surprising to see an actual Simpsons episode that knows how to reference their online popularity with fans in an amusing way for once.
2 good episodes a season does not make up for the shit they churn out.
>Lisa the Boy Scout
DUDE META LMAO does not equal good
>and last years treehouse of horror
The only segment people praise was the Death Note parody which wasn't even the best segment of that episode and on top of that the Simpsons made a way better Death Note parody years ago.
No, I tried watching them out of boredom and the only a handful new ones are just better than normal. Hell the average IMDB of Season 29, the one he calls the worst is slightly higher than Season 33 and 34 so they haven't even reversed the general perception of the decline.
He's just trying to make people think it's good for the sake of his videos premise.
I didn't watch this yet. I've heard it's better again now from people who's opinions I think well enough of. Thing is I have absolutely no desire to watch it again. I tried to give it so much attention even post it's prime. But I literally felt the disdain grow in me for the show in the lady gaga episode. I don't even dislike lady gaga too. That episode felt like everything the Simpsons was was dead and defiled and it became all too obvious then and there. I couldn't watch an episode since. I do hope it's better. kids getting into it now deserve better than the lady gaga episode.
>But I literally felt the disdain grow in me for the show in the lady gaga episode.
There are more seasons since then than there were from the "golden age" to then.

That said, the show has improved in the past few years. I don't watch every episode, but my brother makes a habit on keeping up with any show he's ever binge-watched. He tells me once in a while if an episode is half-decent, and the number of half-decent ones has trended up in the past 5 years or so. When I do watch one he points out, they tend to be a 6/10. That's a major improvement from the lowest points.
this video will forever be the best explaination of why modern simpsons is dog shit as opposed to just "le all the GOOD writers left" or "Modern humour just isnt good"
why are these videos so god damn long? these kinds of videos used to be 10-15 minutes long. there's no excuse to stretch them out to an hour or 38 minutes or whatever.

This is a better video analyzing The Simpsons. Although more specifically on the episode Homer's Enemy, it did explain the downfall of the Simpsons and even the other videos on YouTube describing the show's downfall is just as much redundant as the show's downfall itself
>XboxAhoy
Not really something I enjoy too much. I like the showcases of weapons across vidya, the comp guides for Black Ops 1 weapons and weird stuff like Chicken-O-Meter and Polybius, but he's not something I would watch regularly if I had the choice.
>It also loses some points for trying to pull this kind of plot when the characters will never ever grow up.
They should just make the jump. Fricking age everyone up and move forward into the future. Go for a canonical future already.
Clickbait titles and thumbnails deter me too much from watching, even with ShammyTV's rec..
tl;dw - There's a few standout episodes that are notably good because they're nothing like any other Simpsons episodes in the show's history, but for the most part, new Simpsons is still bad and it should have taken them decades to realize that making rapid fire self-referential joke slop was a bad way to take the show for several dozen seasons.
Stopped watching that homosexual when he made that video crying about how he made a total moron mistake when ordering a pc then cried about how he used his clout to get it fixed
such a fricking cuck, I can’t take a “man” like that seriously at all
It's passable but doesn't approach the golden age, it's still way better than the seasons that came before the last two though. "Good" in the strictest definition of the word, not great and some episodes are still kind of stinkers.
He and RealJims act like these episodes should get trophies for just tackling personal and social issues at all when execution wise it's still unfunny and the digital animation is distractingly trying too hard. I'm happy its healing a little but its got a ways to go before it makes me want to binge a new season.
Yes. People have varying definitions of what the golden age was but it's pretty universally accepted that seasons 3 - 7 at an absolute minimum are some of the best sitcom content ever made.
Honestly, the more I watch Super Eyepatch Wolf (and the older I get) the more I get the impression he's not a very smart guy, he's just very good at editing and narration.
>uses the stupid "they're martial artists not heroes" argument to justify DBZ characters not killing Gero ahead of time >laughs at the ridiculousness of the Stargate Project in his scam artists video and the obvious answer that it was a money laundering scheme seemingly never occurs to him >somehow ordered the wrong component when building a PC even though it was something very basic anyone could've known >said something to the effect of "the original Simpsons were the first sitcom to feature realistic relatable situations" when it's not necessarily true >probably other stupid stuff I didn't notice in his older videos
If he wasn't one of the first big video essayists he'd be much less notable than he is.
My dude thought Bleach would never come back because he thought it was shit. Than when it did comeback he had to back pedal cause he realized there were more people that like it than hated it. Also he's still butthurt that One Piece, despite its sales, is no longer top dog anymore since Demon Slayer and JJk kaiser continues to kick its ass. I know this is more of an Cinemaphile discussion, but I figured it had to be said.
>My dude thought Bleach would never come back because he thought it was shit
This is what everyone thought
>Than when it did comeback he had to back pedal cause he realized there were more people that like it than hated it.
Lmao
>Also he's still butthurt that One Piece, despite its sales, is no longer top dog anymore since Demon Slayer and JJk kaiser continues to kick its ass.
OP sells more than both
>money laundering scheme
The government and intelligence agencies need to do that? It's the CIA, they can do whatever they want, they have more effective power than the US government.
>watch his Roman Reigns video >talks about Roman leaving WWE to focus on his leukemia but completely leaves out his return to the ring in 2019 >mistakes WrestleMania 37 for 38 and doesn't fix it >doesn't even talk about Cody Rhodes >mfw
Aside from that it's junk food content for me, the kind of content that people like Eyepatch Wolf or Napoleon Blownapart do. I know it's poorly researched dogshit but the nice music and soothing voice (save for ending every sentence like he ended a paragraph) makes it great background noise.
I watched this video but then I tried actually watching a recent Simpsons episode and couldn't even get through it. Discarding any opinions from this eceleb now.
That video sucked. It basically the tired old line of, "you're just nostalgic, it's your fault." stretched out for an hour. I even watched one of the "good" episodes he talked about and it sucked. I used to like and respect this loser.
I was just thinking about this video at work, doesn't it feel kinda smug for the Simpsons writers to make a whole tree house of horror segment criticizing Simpsons fans for liking and quoting the early seasons? you can't criticize old fans while also pandering to them at the same time like nobody references the Simpsons bush gif More than Simpsons. shouldn't they be happy that they made such a memorable and quotable show? nobody is making them reference the old stuff they do that shit on their own.
I used to like this guy but the pretentious tone in his voice and how he frames every topic he covers as the most important thing ever annoys the hell out of me.
No, dude, this obscure horror manga is not the scariest thing in the world.
no, its still REALLY REALLY SHIT, i watched every episode up to half way through season 28, with it just getting worse than i could ever imagine, and i watched a few random episodes after season 28 when tards were saying it got better. It didn't.
But people just have to be contrarian these days
I'll add that i see a lot of this behaviour these days, where people saying absolute dogshit is good
Like people saying the 1/10 sonic movie is great
Are people desperately wanting something to be good that they trick themselves?
Is it uncool to say shit things are shit?
Have people forgotten what good is?
>Is it uncool to say shit things are shit?
I thought it was the other way around. But I guess it depends on the subject.
If you shit on something that normalgays love you are obviously going to get some backlash, even if your points make sense.
I'm not watching this shit, but I agree to some extent.
The simpsons had a few good and fun episodes after the 15 or 14 season, so I don't think I'll ever be part of the zombie simpson crowd, but I agree that their current record isn't the best because most episodes are mediocre.
This hyperbolic "The Simpsons is good again" shit is getting a little obnoxious, is it better than previous modern Simpsons outings? Sure. But that doesn't say much if anything, espeically when you compare it the first 10 seasons, which are some of the best of any show in the history of television.
They aren't even that good on their own, they're okay, but if they were Bob's Burgers episodes they'd be high C-tier anything, good but nothing remarkable. And it's a little disengenous to say Simpsons is "good again" because of a few decent episode when weighed against their entire seasons. Even at its lowest the Simpsons always had a few diamonds here and there, that doesn't make it good again, that Lego episode was fine, but that doesn't make the season it came from any better, and that was years ago at this point.
People are just saying it's good again and that it's remarkable it's even passable, not that it's amazing or even comparable to the golden age. I feel like posts like these are creating a sort of strawman themselves. I've literally not seen anybody say that the last couple of Simpsons seasons are great or especially that they compare to the golden age, just that they're exactly what you're already saying: passable.
Anon. I didn't say they were saying they were comparable, but a statement like "The Simpsons is good again" carries a lot of weight and implications especially with a show as storied, well regarded and infamous as the Simpsons, and simply saying "eh they're alright I guess" does not need a fricking 1 hour deep dive into them.
And again saying "The Simpsons is good again!" Is a VERY loaded statement, especially when that praise is headed towards episodes that don't rise above more than "okay".
>And again saying "The Simpsons is good again!" Is a VERY loaded statement, especially when that praise is headed towards episodes that don't rise above more than "okay".
The proper statement should be "The Simpsons is less shitty than it's been for the last 20 years" but saying it's "Good again" is catchier clickbait, which is unironically what this video and the article that inspired it were in the first place.
That's fair but you also outright compared it to the first 10 seasons which I haven't really seen anybody claim they're comparable to. When you do compare them obviously the golden age episodes are better. But yeah, I guess "The Simpsons are good again" is really a pretty loaded statement the more I think about it, because of course people are going to think that means "As good as the golden age" when you phrase it like that. It's just not, I don't think it's really even possible for that to happen again unless all technology invented post-1999 spontaneously fails to work and social attitudes return to those of that era.
Got a pop up saying you can't block ads for the first time. Does this mean it only shows up on channels I shouldn't be watching? None of my music playlists were affected.
Just ignore it and it goes away after a few times. Youtube doesn't want to actually do anything about ad blockers because clicks and view time still get them revenue and they don't want to risk losing potentially hundreds of millions of viewers.
This guy is very obnoxious. He kept going on about how the westworld parody was so mindblowing and symbolic and kept fellating the "iconography" of the walt disney statue parody...
The only thing I learned is that the showrunners are doing a tiny bit of a better job recently handling the show.
I think it's a fair thing to say that the newer seasons are enjoyable on their own merit rather than living up to what was good about the old episodes.
All of the "modern Simpsons not so bad" videos can really be summarized as "Matt Selman good." He has been the Messiah of people still watching the Simpsons over 10 years. Every time people said "wow, this episode was kinda decent!" like Halloween of Terror or Book Job, he was behind it.
I watched last sunday's episode. Marge is ill because of something she ate and is having a dream introspection adventure because her kids (specially bart) are growing older. If you watched the episode where todd was sad because he couldn't remember maude's face, this was sort of like that but with marge being sad she couldn't remember the last time she and bart held hands. By the end she learns that she must let go, and that the kids grow up doesn't mean there won't be new things to treasure.
It was sweet and inoffensive, but SUPER boring. It also loses some points for trying to pull this kind of plot when the characters will never ever grow up. Bart has been 10 for almost 30 years so it's kind of silly from them to expect me to care about marge being worried. Also kinda weird them giving marge a focus episode considering the state of her voice.
The episode before this one was also pretty forgettable. Homer becomes a crossing guard and starts treating it like a mafia. The only good thing in the entire episode was mr burns, lenny and carl managing a real reactor meltdown crisis on the station next to homer's. They made homer a fake station and they manage the real emergencies not to hurt his feelings, which is fricking hilarious and kinda sweet within context.
I think that's an ongoing trend of the new episodes, they're more saccharine with less jokes, and the jokes they do have are still modern simpsons jokes, very hit or miss, so I don't know what the frick people are talking about when they say we're witnessing a simpsons renaissance, the standards must be on the floor.
>It also loses some points for trying to pull this kind of plot when the characters will never ever grow up.
They should just make the jump. Fricking age everyone up and move forward into the future. Go for a canonical future already.
Both of the things that you mentioned still spund miles more interest than most of Zombie Simpsons just because it's literally anything but "Simpsons sucks celebritiies' wieners" or "Simpsons gets around to parodying shitty flash in the pan Internet fad five years too late." So you're right that's really where the standards are, below the goddamn floor.
Both of those things sound better for having literally any substance at all. As for jokes, everyone gave up on those years ago. Frick, I'll just take them achieving telling a simple as frick story with the characters or expressing one or two thoughtful opinions instead. Most adult animation hasn't been funny in ten years.
I actually thought this video was pretty good. He outlines three clear reasons he thinks seasons 33 & 34 are a bit better that he backs up with out claiming they’re as good as old peak Simpsons.
might it be that zombie simpsons is the result of too many cooks per episode? writing by committee
I feel I need to watch this season before watching the rest of the video
>Literally takes over an hour just to say "meh, it's better than it was recently but like, 6-7/10, not exactly back to its glory days"
Don't watch this, it's a massive waste of time.
I think I read somewhere or maybe heard it from a commentary but the writers used to work like long hours and 40-50 hour weeks for the classic years? But then with recent years they actually get to go home at a reasonable time to their families. So maybe sometimes you have to be a tough boss to get good quality?
Selman Simpsons feels nothing like golden age Simpsons, it feels like a mediocre Bob's Burgers clone. The writing style of the golden seasons is so snappy and fluid with no dead moments and they haven't been able to replicate it since.
I've actually heard multiple people say this but I've never actually seen for myself, but the fact that it was multiple Simpsons fans saying it gives me a little hope that claim has some merit
Youtube also recommended me that video, but I didn't watch it because I'm smart

Did we learn nothing from the Nostalgic Man days? Why must we repeat the same mistakes from generations ago?
Isn't Douge more popular than ever in raw viewcounts?
Nostalgia Critic wasn't (isn't) about this style of reviews at all.

Holy shit Marge's VA
Why is Homer sleeping with Marge's Mom?
says what therealjims says but in 3 times the length
I'm going to say it. He is really hot.
Based on this video, no, probably not. Even when he's talking about the high points I'm filled with ennui at the idea of watching modern Simpsons.
Pass

Maybe this video is better but EmpLemon can be a fricking moron too. His video about villains from a couple of years ago was a whole lot of nothing.
EmpLemon is a midwit who talks big about subjects he knows nothing about.
Empleomon is a soiituber for people who think they're too good for soitubers
Can you rec any Youtubers that aren't shit?
NTA but RetroAhoy
>XboxAhoy
Not really something I enjoy too much. I like the showcases of weapons across vidya, the comp guides for Black Ops 1 weapons and weird stuff like Chicken-O-Meter and Polybius, but he's not something I would watch regularly if I had the choice.
Clickbait titles and thumbnails deter me too much from watching, even with ShammyTV's rec..
B-Mask
Good rec. His Fantastic Four video is great and his video on Kickassia is unironically good too.
Jacob Geller is like if Super Eyepatch Wolf was less obnoxious
Ces dessins animés-là qui méritent qu'on s'en souvienne.

I like Ross Scott.
Thats just 1 angle/aspect of why new simpsons is shit
tl;dw - There's a few standout episodes that are notably good because they're nothing like any other Simpsons episodes in the show's history, but for the most part, new Simpsons is still bad and it should have taken them decades to realize that making rapid fire self-referential joke slop was a bad way to take the show for several dozen seasons.
Stopped watching that homosexual when he made that video crying about how he made a total moron mistake when ordering a pc then cried about how he used his clout to get it fixed
such a fricking cuck, I can’t take a “man” like that seriously at all
It's fitting he's also done a Sonic video because I feel like I've seen this kind of thing before from Sonicgays
?si=Z5Bj178YBlozcOXj&t=12
He's right but jesus he's speak like a paddy who's ashamed to be Irish. West Brit larper.
It's passable but doesn't approach the golden age, it's still way better than the seasons that came before the last two though. "Good" in the strictest definition of the word, not great and some episodes are still kind of stinkers.
I'm more offended by the ugly editing.
He and RealJims act like these episodes should get trophies for just tackling personal and social issues at all when execution wise it's still unfunny and the digital animation is distractingly trying too hard. I'm happy its healing a little but its got a ways to go before it makes me want to binge a new season.
>RealJims
That guy has Stockholm syndrome.
no
All I can say is that last year's tree house of horror Death note parody was actually really good. But I still haven't bothered to watch anything else
Has The Simpsons ever been good?
Yes. People have varying definitions of what the golden age was but it's pretty universally accepted that seasons 3 - 7 at an absolute minimum are some of the best sitcom content ever made.
Season 8's when it became hit-and-miss then Season 13 is when it became 100% miss.
Honestly, the more I watch Super Eyepatch Wolf (and the older I get) the more I get the impression he's not a very smart guy, he's just very good at editing and narration.
>uses the stupid "they're martial artists not heroes" argument to justify DBZ characters not killing Gero ahead of time
>laughs at the ridiculousness of the Stargate Project in his scam artists video and the obvious answer that it was a money laundering scheme seemingly never occurs to him
>somehow ordered the wrong component when building a PC even though it was something very basic anyone could've known
>said something to the effect of "the original Simpsons were the first sitcom to feature realistic relatable situations" when it's not necessarily true
>probably other stupid stuff I didn't notice in his older videos
OP sells more than both
You know I'm right OP shill.
>money laundering scheme
The government and intelligence agencies need to do that? It's the CIA, they can do whatever they want, they have more effective power than the US government.
>Super Eyepatch Wolf
Eyepatchwolf isn't Irish. Matthewmatosis and Mechagamezilla are Irish.
He literally has an Irish accent and has talked about being Irish in several of his videos, including OP's. Are you moronic
He's an East Yank posh Dub
He might live in Dublin but he's got no Dublin accent
Maybe that anon doesn't count Northern Irish as Irish
SuperEyepatchWolf has ruined the word "genuine". It no longer means anything anymore and I want his trachea ripped out for what he's done.
Also why can't he just stick to making videos with Woolie satirizing his love of HunterxHunter
TheRealJims is the only good Simpsons Youtuber, and only in his 1-minute review formats.
Go back to tiktok ADD zoomie.
>watch his Roman Reigns video
>talks about Roman leaving WWE to focus on his leukemia but completely leaves out his return to the ring in 2019
>mistakes WrestleMania 37 for 38 and doesn't fix it
>doesn't even talk about Cody Rhodes
>mfw
Aside from that it's junk food content for me, the kind of content that people like Eyepatch Wolf or Napoleon Blownapart do. I know it's poorly researched dogshit but the nice music and soothing voice (save for ending every sentence like he ended a paragraph) makes it great background noise.
>background noise
Listen to music, and expose others to your taste, subhuman.
I'm good, but thank you for the suggestion.
Blownapart is frickin awesome.
I wish we got more Chunky Lisa art.
a la grande le puse cuca
I watched this video but then I tried actually watching a recent Simpsons episode and couldn't even get through it. Discarding any opinions from this eceleb now.
mark said it is decent, but still not as good as it was
Mark bearly even liked golden age Simpsons
Super Eyepatch Wolf is a homosexual, I'm more of a Lesly Bestington guy.
He is a SOCIAL MEDIA ICON.
It didn't.
But people just have to be contrarian these days
also check this out
I'll add that i see a lot of this behaviour these days, where people saying absolute dogshit is good
Like people saying the 1/10 sonic movie is great
Are people desperately wanting something to be good that they trick themselves?
Is it uncool to say shit things are shit?
Have people forgotten what good is?
>Is it uncool to say shit things are shit?
I thought it was the other way around. But I guess it depends on the subject.
If you shit on something that normalgays love you are obviously going to get some backlash, even if your points make sense.
I'm not watching this shit, but I agree to some extent.
The simpsons had a few good and fun episodes after the 15 or 14 season, so I don't think I'll ever be part of the zombie simpson crowd, but I agree that their current record isn't the best because most episodes are mediocre.
Is that flanders two part episode good? That one didn't sound too bad
I do not for some second trust anyone that watches modern Simpsons, much less anyone willing to produce a video on the subject
Daily reminder that the Star Wars prequels are not good just because the sequels are worse.
I still find the prequels worse as movies actually
I disagree but respect your opinion.
You’re right
They’re good because they were always good
You're right, they were good at being terrible
Terribly good
I think it's a fair thing to say that the newer seasons are enjoyable on their own merit rather than living up to what was good about the old episodes.
The Simpsons hasn't been good since the Scully seasons.
No. The Simpsons haven't been funny or relevant since the movie came out. And that was over 15 years ago. Just let it fricking die.
It's good, but different. I have no idea why it's been better, it feels like it should just zombify more over time.
Hate this homosexual. His wrestling videos are abysmal, the worst I've ever seen.
"Just trust me bro, the Simpsons are good again!"
they'll
never
stop
the simpsons
I actually thought this video was pretty good. He outlines three clear reasons he thinks seasons 33 & 34 are a bit better that he backs up with out claiming they’re as good as old peak Simpsons.
might it be that zombie simpsons is the result of too many cooks per episode? writing by committee
I feel I need to watch this season before watching the rest of the video
Zombie Simpsons is the result of only one cook in the kitchen old Simpsons had many showrunners but only for showrunner during the zombie era.
There was a small window where it was watchable again, but the last 3-5 years have been fricking terrible
Reminder to please respect Super Eyepatch Wolf's wishes and unsubscribe from his channel then go die if you don't support BLM.
I love how people can just say shit online.
He said it.
Max Power its the only good Simpsons youtuber
>Literally takes over an hour just to say "meh, it's better than it was recently but like, 6-7/10, not exactly back to its glory days"
Don't watch this, it's a massive waste of time.
Homer's character
Remember this gay had a meltdown over getting bullied by Bleachhomosexuals
Zombie Simpsons just wasn't the worst seasons of the Simpsons, it defined a generation.
Thank you for watching my one hour long essay. $$$
granted if they had some new young voice actors it would probably help the material
Do you think they'd end it if one of the simpson family voice actors died?
I think I read somewhere or maybe heard it from a commentary but the writers used to work like long hours and 40-50 hour weeks for the classic years? But then with recent years they actually get to go home at a reasonable time to their families. So maybe sometimes you have to be a tough boss to get good quality?
Selman Simpsons feels nothing like golden age Simpsons, it feels like a mediocre Bob's Burgers clone. The writing style of the golden seasons is so snappy and fluid with no dead moments and they haven't been able to replicate it since.
>6 episodes in and there's already cuckshit
What games is Sideshow Mel playing?
Not really
