I just looked up the current Fox line up and senpai guy is by far the coolest show on it. Bob burger and Simpsons are lame, family friendly shows (in comparison to family guy) and I don’t even know what Krapapolis is and I don’t suspect it will stay long.
Absolutely. You can say whatever about their quality, but it's been the case for a few years, especially online. Even Family Guy's main Twitter page has more than The Simpsons. People still talk about Family Guy, good or bad.
The silver lining to that is the gays are usually more accepting of jokes than other groups. But they're favorite kind of joke is being b***hy with white women. So it's a subtle humor.
No the simpsons has invented a shitton of words and phrases people actually use and paved the way for family guy. So the simpsons will always have more cultural relevance because you can't talk about family guy without first mentioning the simpsons. Stupid question.
More Zoomers watch Family Guy then Simpsons. And Family Guy has more memes. But the Simpsons has affected so much of the entertainment industry and the world as a whole even if the average person is unaware of the influence they are still affected by it. Plus people still analyze episodes of the Simpsons. There are episodes that are still relevant to this day. And sometimes an episode will even be shown in schools.
So on a surface level Family Guy has more cultural relevance. But on a deeper level The Simpsons has it.
>Is it safe to say Family Guy has surpassed Simpsons in terms of cultural relevance?
Yes, as someone born in the 80s The Simpsons is just depressing now. Every character sounds off because all the actors are too old.
The Simpsons is not a zombie, but a mummy - old, decrepit and dried out
100%. I think the Simpsons was funnier for longer and had higher highs in quality. But Simpsons is almost unwatchable now and while the first dozen seasons still have great episodes and jokes there's also plenty of duds and bad/dated jokes. I still remember and reference Simpsons but outside of my friend group I rarely hear anyone reference them especially if their under 30. Family guy had a genuinely hilarious first few seasons and while it dropped off hard it still manages to have at least 1 chuckle worthy joke per episode. The characters are all awful now and the show has gotten stale. But it doesn't have the desperate feel the Simpsons has. And peter is just a walking meme, hes in fricking fortnite now. The kids that grew up last generation and are growing up in this one didn't watch Simpsons they watched family guy.
outside the usa, family guy is barely non-existent, you only see a few memes here and there but your average person will not know what the frick is even family guy
Yeah that's a big indicator of either show's cultural relevance. Simpsons can be recognized by people literally all over the world, but I never got the feeling Family Guy has much of a presence beyond the U.S. and maybe South America. To this day, I've yet to see any westaboo fan art of the Griffins.
No, the simpsons are still the more culturally relevant because culture went to shit just like the simpsons, meanwhile family dad is still consistent because they still make the same fricking jokes over and over and over, etc.
No
Which one is in Fortnite?
The cheapest option
>https://desuarchive.org/
I mean your friends and family
This. Literally no one talks about Simpsons unless Simpsons does something depressing to the legacy of the show
By that logic, there should be a Simpsons board on the chins.
Yep
Weren't people talking about The Simpsons supposedly getting rid of Homer strangling Bart
>unless Simpsons does something depressing to the legacy of the show
yes but nobody has actually watched any of the episodes in the last 10 years
Won’t be long until Homie and the rest of the Fox dads will be in Fortnite

lol ironic memes XD
fortnite itself is past its peak of relevance, though. a better metric ti judge it by is how often family guy clips are used as filler in tiktoks.
When was the last time you guys talked about the Simpsons then?
The Simpsons was talked about late last year with the Treehouse of Horror
Most gen z from my experience watch family guy but dont watch senpai guy.
Yes
Maybe
They are both very shit shows
Absolutely. You can say whatever about their quality, but it's been the case for a few years, especially online. Even Family Guy's main Twitter page has more than The Simpsons. People still talk about Family Guy, good or bad.
Zoom Zooms dont care about Simpsons but they know all the Family Guy memes
With every passing year SImpsons fades into obscurity while Family Guy grows stronger
Because Simpsons sucks now
Simpsons has sucked for more than 20 years. There are adults who can drink, drive and vote who were not alive when Simpsons was good.
Zoomers suck.
nobody my ages makes refrences to the simpsons that much now HEY LOUIS is a line I hear often
How and why? Is the Simpsons just too corny now and less edgy?
Basically
Modern family guy isnt edgy either
The silver lining to that is the gays are usually more accepting of jokes than other groups. But they're favorite kind of joke is being b***hy with white women. So it's a subtle humor.
>want to get rid of Bruce
what the frick he's a great character
They just had a Bruce centric episode not too long ago
>Like that time I got molested by a relative at a young age.
Did Peter do it?
You'd think they'd go after Quagmire's dad before Bruce.

Lisa needs braces.

not to me

I'm not in the US and I, along most people I know, know what family guy is.
Granted we also know what the Simpsons is, but still.

Closest thing I can think of is this chinese artist that loves Quagmire
Haha that’s crazy
I'm in love with Lois's chubby, smoochable cheeks!
>I gotta admit, I'm gonna miss eating cereal out of the dimples on your ass.
Family Guy is huge in Australia, I can tell you that for a fact
No, the simpsons are still the more culturally relevant because culture went to shit just like the simpsons, meanwhile family dad is still consistent because they still make the same fricking jokes over and over and over, etc.
Ask me again when Family Guy gets a movie.
It already did
