I don't know OP, to be honest I like since I love torture porn (not literal porn just the name of the genre of content where characters are tortured) And I really like Pomni going crazy, showing the pain which other torture porn does not actually show.
I think the plot is okay, it is just that people like the because of the characters like Jax or Pomni or Caine, etc. And maybe some are like me and then the minority actually likes the plot.

Im the opposite personally, i quite liked the pilot even as a standalone thing, but i have doubts if the concept will actually be able to pull off a series without turning the concept stale or repetitive or losing the charm. I'll put it this way, i got "Episodal Indie Mascot Horror" vibes in that now a lot of people are into it because of MUH POTENTIAL and MUH LORE, and i honestly think most of those projects seem to shit the pants once they are past the "Mystery"/"New Toy" phase. Perhaps a bit cynical of me, but it's not like i want the show to fail or anything, im just a bit wary if it gonna be able to run a marathon even if it starts with a sprint, if you get what i mean.
I can't stand the amateur voice actors. Particularly for the main girl and that rabbit character. And the animation, while really competent, isn't at all up my alley so it was kind of hard to watch.

Outside if Cinemaphile and twitter most people think it's not very good or mediocre or outright bad.
I thought it was very mediocre and besides it's polished 3d, it's all around not good and very overrated.
