No
Only a few dozen shitposters on here genuinely believe this.
Le "did it bombed you guyz?" threads are few of the worst circlejerks on Cinemaphile atm
When the Wikipedia entry recounting the movie is more entertaining than the movie that's a problem.
Any consistent thread about a movie Cinemaphile doesn't care about keeps popping up it's not haters doing it it's either shills or couple of anons doing it for as a forced meme.
Its not even really shitposting, its "hey, you know that thing you all really enjoy? it's reddit. i can't tell you why, but i'll make fun of you for replying."
they are truly bad threads, even if I hate or like a movie I don’t give a shit about its box office numbers. I’m not a fricking accountant and it’s a boring topic.
There's an entire cottage industry of plinkett style movie reviews that just shit on movies. And it exists because plenty of people prefer to not watch the movie and instead wait to see how shitty it was.
Seems that way on Cinemaphile. I've seen 7 movies in the theater in the last 3 months. When I see threads about them it feels like the haters haven't seen the film they are complaining about.
yea movies are shit these days
and all shameless cash grabs, its not a surprise the online discourse would then also be about why the movies were made, money

Yes, because they're obviously not fixing the shit that is causing the financial failure and they just keep doing it over and over again. So rather than get angry about that, just sit back and guess how much money it's gonna lose.
I haven't watched a movie in over three years. I haven't been to the theater since Shin Godzilla got a limited US release and I drove over an hour to see it.
for about 6 or 8 years yeah
Uh oh. Disney shills are grumpy.

t. disney
Of course
the flash box office threads were genuinely hilarious
especially with all the build up before hand of that guys various crimes of abuse and abduction.
Ok I can believe that but ive been avoiding these threads for months now

It’s shitposters who know how to farm maximum replies. The actual paid shills are less subtle.

Yeah poopshoot
Pretty much
Lol, yes, its way more enjoyable then the films they produce.
no, never got those threads
only fun seeing some oscar-bait hopelessly losing to some shit like barbie
Modern Oscar bait = pozzed goyslop.
New Barbie movie is pozzed goyslop.
Same thing.

I enjoy seeing corporate lose money. I get content regardless

which 7? some of them i may have seen.
No need to, Indiana shill. Based on the trailers and reviews we can gauge pretty accurately how garbage the flick is going to be.
They haven't. It's mostly morons who basically think they're fighting against some cabal trying to make them gay.
Failure N Spite culture is profitable.

Yeah but it's not our fault. Its not rocket doctoring to make a movie with some appeal.

More fun?
Probably not.
Cheaper and easier?
Definitely.
>Probably not.
It was pretty fun to see Disney shills predict that da lil nogmaid was going to make a billion dollars.
DON’T BRING ME DOWN
Why don't they just make good movies so people can enjoy them instead of needing to talk about how they ruined a movie online?
It’s definitely more fun than watching a Disney film.

Fun?
