That the problem watching Smallville after that whole sex cult scandal, knowing Mack was using the show to recruit the female actresses working on it.
Kristen Kreuk and Laura Vanderhoof joined NXIVM but only participated on surface level activities, not the inner circle stuff
Nicki Clyne (mostly known for Battlestar Galactica, had a small bit part in Smallville) she got in deep with NXIVM.
Even Michael Rosenbaum told a story on his podcast about she barged into his house during a party and started acting all wifey in the kitchen trying to recruit him into the cult.
Fascinating. Where can I read more about this? Knowing more about how these cults try to recruit and operate, as well as the reaction of the people when they get to the weird part is super interesting to me.
20 episodes of 'Clark and Lana decide to date but then break up in the end of the episode" became tiresome in S1.
By S3 they are insufferable.
I have no idea how can you watch them more than once.
>Is it worth a watch?
Capeshit wrapped in teen-shit
It's okay overall, show jumps the shark around Season 6 once Lana finds out about Clark's powers, and the rest of the show turns into a bad copy of the old "Lois and Clark" show from the late 80s, wrapped in very bad capeshit, like guest-starring superheros were more like LARP'ers than trying to convince the audience of who they were...it's sad really.
it's the most wonderfully ridiculous show in the world, this teen boy Clark Kent meets lex luthor by being run over by his car through a railing and off a bridge, lex is conscious for this and clark saves him from the river
1. is seen at over 30 crime scenes
2. has personally saved everyone from the sheriff to the country billionaire father of lex luthor
3. has saved lana lang personally over 30 times.
4. is best friends with a suspicious lex luthor who has dedicated millions to discovering as he puts it "the secret of Clark kent"
and lex can never figure it out, he never walks up with a pen knife and jabs clark to check if he's invulnerable, and in the few times he does test clark, clark has somehow lost his powers and lex only tests then and then is ashamed
its so pants vomittingly stupid
If you have a lot of patience, yes. It's both wholesome and yet plenty fan service. Lots of cute women on the show. Lex was a total bro in the first few seasons and there is a decent amount of kino.
I say the first 3 seasons are gold. Season 5 is also pretty good. Actually season 9 is also pretty good but you have to get through 6, 7, and 8 which are shit. 10 is whatever
I am seriously convinced this show made me gay. I watched it like 3 times when I was like 7 and immediately had my first gay thoughts after that. They never went away. I never had gay thoughts before watching this show.
well tom welling in his prime was one of the "i'm not gay but..." guys
I watched the whole series with my family and I never had a single gay thought. In fact I lusted after the women the entire series. I think you're just gay lol
>oh boy, I can't wait to air this on network television at 6 pm on a Thursday where all the kids are awake and can see it >I'm sure this will have no adverse effect on the youth of this nation whatsoever
Boys are usually repelled by girl things which enable them to avoid being gay.
I watched Card Captor Sakura when I was 12 but then they had the plot where the boy was "infatuated" with an older man that turned into a magical being and I just stopped watching there, it was a girl show, girl thing are gay. Having sex with women is gay
Best Lex Luthor actor ever in live action. He never really felt like a villain even when he went full villain mode. Just a man who thought he was doing the right thing. Which is precisely Lex’s thing. (Since the start of the Modern age of comics in the 80’s). He stopped being a more generic mad scientist and started being a more individualistic narcissist who hated superman because he claimed he felt he dragged humanity down. Was a danger to humanity both because he could turn on us and relying on him made us complacent. And this was the era where Lex went from typical supervillain to more House of Cards style manipulator who didn’t get his hands dirty. Hence why superman couldn’t just take him to jail and was much more of a threat (Lex actually became president around 2000 in the comics)
>I’m sorry I couldn’t save you Lex
Probably my favourite quote of the show. Because throughout much of the show Lex just genuinely wants to be Clark’s friend, help him and his family. Clark hides who he is because he’s afraid. When it FINALLY comes out Lex literally tells him he would have kept his secret at all costs and done anything to help him be the hero he wants to be. Clark’s desperation to hide who he was destroyed their friendship and pushed Lex into becoming the villain who defines superman’s life. Basically forcing him to become the greatest hero ever merely by existing as his counterpoint
>Lex Luthor : Our story hasn't been written yet, Kal-El. And every villain is only as great as his hero. But, you see, that all relies on you saving us from the coming Apocalypse. >Clark Kent : You know about Darkseid? >Lex Luthor : You really thought I just read the cliff notes of the Veritas journals? They foretold of a chosen savior - the light that will inspire this world out of darkness. You are the light, Clark. Only you have the power within. >Clark Kent : I'm not so sure that Clark Kent can save the entire world on his own. >Lex Luthor : He can't. But we both know who can. >Clark Kent : I'm sorry I couldn't save you, Lex.
The finale really seals just how Lex is. He HATES superman. But he is 100% willing to say Clark needs to become superman to save humanity from this apocalypse.
He also says the future is unwritten because he doesn’t buy he’s evil and will frick things up because well, he isn’t.
There’s actually smallville comics set after the show and it’s interesting where they go with It. Especially since they introduce characters like Batman who couldn’t be in the show due to legal issues
IMO they should have had these dudes play superman and Lex in a movie around 2013. Would have been much more interesting than Man of a Steel. Just ignore the janky aspects of Smallville and treat it more like a general idea
>that time Clark went to college for like 5 weeks >that time Clark killed an alien just because he didn't know how to send him back to his home world >that time they found out Doomsday was encased under Smallville this whole time >that time he killed Doomsday before he was even a proper superhero

SOMEBODY
ONCE
It's gay Free so yes.
It's message fee so yes.
It's well written and not modern day written so yes.
>Smallville
>gay free
KEK
Luthor literally is obsessed with Clark and wants to bone him. Clearly you need a rewatch.
He sees him as a brother. He’s envious of the happy family life that Clark has.
>It's well written
Let's not get carried away.
compared to what was on when it aired, not particularly, compared to what is pushed out today it looks like Shakespeare
Its pure kino and Clark is literally me.
what's the estimated velocity of a supercumshot?
There's an episode where Lana gets powers and her and Clark frick so hard they cause earthquakes.
He cums from his eyes
Enough to blow a load like a shotgun right through her back.
Not really.
What do I need to do to get a big tiddy procurer mommy? (And not to go prison for it.)
Hearing Welling talk about it, shit just sounds exhausting. Glad for him that he's back from the wall.
I join cult for she

where is the problem?
>surface level activities
What kind of activities?
nothing sexual, on the surface NXIVM was just some kind of self-help group for business minded people trying to be successful, or some shit like that.
Kreuk 'claimed' she attended a few session then, thinking it would help her career, but got bored and gave it up.
Vanderhoof dug a bit deeper, got weird vibes and nope'd out of there before the inner-circle sale-pitch was laid on her.
Fascinating. Where can I read more about this? Knowing more about how these cults try to recruit and operate, as well as the reaction of the people when they get to the weird part is super interesting to me.
hnnng
It's a fun watch, I'd say it's worth it.
No. It's one of those "nothing is happening for 10 episodes" shows.
and that's a good thing
You can watch Smallville with the whole family and not have to worry about Aids programming.
>You can watch Smallville with the whole family
Except that the 2 female leads were in an a8rahamic cult bent on political influence and torture.
As I said, Smallville, the show, was aces.
starts out good. they run out of ideas. eventually turns into schlock. similar to supernatural thinking about it now
The first 3 seasons are kino. Season 4 you realize the wheels are getting wobbly and that's about where you should stop.
Funny enough that’s where the show was supposed to end, but it was too popular so they kept it going.
>stop at season 4
Lois hating gay
you have dogshit taste
best Smallville seasons are 4-10 with 8-10 being pure unfiltered Clois kino
You being a low tier coomer doesn't make those seasons any good. You're suffering through garbage just to look at your waifu more
>S1-3
>good
20 episodes of 'Clark and Lana decide to date but then break up in the end of the episode" became tiresome in S1.
By S3 they are insufferable.
I have no idea how can you watch them more than once.
you can't watch it for clana, clark's relationships are pretty shitty outside of Lois. (and that one chick that can teleport)
Ok i like Clois but some of those seasons in the middle suck
Don’t get memed into watching this shit, there has never been a single good DC tv show.
Lying liar!
>OG Teen Titans
>BTAS
>there has never been a single good DC tv show
arrow s2 was good
I'll take your word for it. couldn't make it through the first one.
TBATB
BTAS
Season 1 is good.
season 3 is too

These two people are in this thread right now

>and in the few times he does test clark, clark has somehow lost his powers and lex only tests then and then is ashamed
kek yeah I remember those.
>clark loses power
>"oh yeah lex gonna test him now"
Every single time. It's so cheesy, and yet so good.
A bunch of "Deus Ex-Head Trauma" that keeps Clark's secret.
I had no idea this was about Superman
Same, I thought it was like Dawson's Creek or One Tree Hill until my sisters told me it was about Superman.
It's literally the best Superman IP of all time.
Best Superman IP of all time.
I remember it being pretty clear from the commercials as a kid

Kek'd nta but you're funny. Tell em anon tell em
Smallville is the safest show your kids can watch bar none!
well tom welling in his prime was one of the "i'm not gay but..." guys
>estrogen in the water
Stop drinking tap water
I watched the whole series with my family and I never had a single gay thought. In fact I lusted after the women the entire series. I think you're just gay lol
Yes he is.

What's Chloe doing to him down there?
Could have been worse, could have had gays.
Here's that 19yo kid I was telling you about
Boys are usually repelled by girl things which enable them to avoid being gay.

>t. Greek

The flash scene was gay as frick
Because you're gay!scene is Literally brothers saying good bye and then you weirdos gotta make it gay! Disgusting
Is not gay, it was friendship
Yeah, is practically a harem show too
i love this show
the opening credit is magical as FRICK
Mrs Kent is hot
I liked how she waited a whole two weeks before sucking and fricking Lionel after Pa Kent died from space AIDS
Was Mr. Kent an antivaxxer during the show as well?
Just a good ol' boy.
True but you're a gay anon
was everyone on tv just sexier back then?
They didn't hire ugly people back then
2.2 is must watch.
