Is it worth marathoning or nah? I liked Nathan For You and thought The Rehersal was ok but didn't hear anything about this show

I'm on episode 9 right now.
It's not funny, it's just hard to watch.
I felt like it was building to something, but I'm not sure anymore. In isolation, many of the scenes are interesting, but they don't seem to build to something more interesting. Will probably just finish out of inertia.
The wife is kind of an insufferable c**t. I hope there is a satisfying resolution, but I doubt it at this point
>It's not funny, it's just hard to watch.
This.
>I felt like it was building to something, but I'm not sure anymore.
It doesn't.
It's weird. Entertaining but not funny or anything like that. Nathan can't act in a serious role for shit
He's playing a character that is stilted and faking being empathetic.
The performance was good, but it was in service of nothing.
Rugpull: the TV show
It's interesting because it does a similar thing to other shows where everyone is a piece of shit but it shows it entirely starkly and doesn't ever try to make you like the characters or treat them as correct or right. I found it pretty cathartic as someone who usually can't stand TV dramas but I can see anyone just as easily thinking it's the same as every other one.
I only laughed in the scene of the guy driving drunk
Is it like Funky Forest or Sion Sono, but with buttholes? I watched quirky Japanese indies to escape the humdrum slop here, but now the quirkmeisters have come of age.
It's like a Yorgos Lanthimos film or if Zulawski's Possession but just the parts where the couple are trying to hurt each other's feelings. Benny Safdie plays a sleezeball producer in it.
Do not bother. Absolute dogwater. It is not plot driven, but instead "character driven" which basically gives it an excuse to do whatever it wants. Really tripe. Proceed with caution.
Feels a lot longer than it needs to be, but there are some funny moments, some gripping and tense moments, and a cool soundtrack to round it all out. It's like a Safdie movie but 10x the length, for better or worse.

best show of 2023, eat my dick b***hes
ASHMAN
DOUGIE
Was... Dougie the curse?
the real curse was the friends we made along the way
I'm pretty sure all 3 of them were the curse
I enjoyed it. I did think it was funny like the scene where Asher is shown on the whistleblowing story laughing his ass off at the gambling addict. Not sure if it was intentionally funny or not. Ending was really dumb.
Wait for it…
Waaait forr iiit…
>we didn't get a scene where Cara has her neck broken by the chiropractor
>fat-faced indigenous arthoe gf never ever
I want Cara to scream in my face
It's the funniest thing Nathan Fielder produced. You need to like actual cringe comedy, not Tim Robinson sketch shit. If you really liked The Rehearsal, you're gonna love this one.
it seems like people either think this is great or boring and underwhelming. is it good to watch with my dad?
yes you'll be a wee old time from the very first episode
i only know about the micro penis bit.
the real curse is realizing you wasted you time
i couldnt do it
its just too fricking boring, dropped halfway in
Why did Asher give in to the comedy teacher's goading?
He already survived this. Asher had nothing left to lose
Emma Stone should win an Oscar
Just watched the ending. It’s so absurd I loved it. Fielder would unironically direct a memorable movie.
its the best show to air in the past 5 years. its not perfect or even amazing but it sticks with you in a very visceral way
its one of the best shows ever made, watch it
its one of the worst shows ever made, skip it
Maybe you need to interact with coasties to like it.
