Sorry to tell you, but celebrities often look much worse in person. There are some people who are so beautiful that it hurts to look at them, but lots are held together by a lot of caked up makeup, bad surgery, weird features like fat cheeks or oversized head, that all somehow work on camera, but when you actually see them it’s all bad skin and oddness.

Pic is fricking tragic. Sweeney's obviously frickable for a downer, so probably quite a high sex drive too, but jesus - some anon described her breasts as "mournful" and that's the best description. She's got a great body, clearly works her ass off in the gym, but she has the breasts of a woman of at least 50 years old.
She should pretend to have breast cancer and get them fixed. She reminds me of bath woman from The Shining.

The majority of them literally all went to school together or knew each other prior to becoming big comedians. So whenever they have a new show they just call their friends and offer them a role. As a result British comedy has just stagnated entirely and we've been left with the same few frick heads. I want to know what will happen when they get too old or start dying though. Will they just hire their friends children or will we finally see new faces?

but francesca martinez looks too disabled while rosie jones looks like an average English Rose who could have attended one of the lesser colleges at Oxbridge.

Comedy is now the preserve of the middle class and upwards. The old working class circuits that used to make working class comedians (blackpool, working men's clubs etc.) no longer really exists.
That and the increasing prevalence of nepo babies whose parents were media high ups and so have the right connection have squeezed working class comedians entirely out of the frame.

Impossible to know whether I'd have sucked or not without trying it, but I feel like I could maybe have done stand-up. (I have some stage experience, and I've had people tell me I should have before - though of course, being funny among friends =/= entertaining a crowd of strangers.) But, yeah, the situation being what it is, there's just no point. It's effectively a closed shop. I'd be better off just doing more comedic stuff on my YouTube channel.

Come fly with me and little Britain are honestly my two favourite comedies. They're some of the only shows to properly encapsulate British life and make it simply funny. Others always end up relying on oh so relatable bullshit like talking about tea and saying sorry whereas Walliams and Lucas made good characters to relate to. The BBC definitely wouldn't be willing to make that sort of stuff today with Lucas doing blackface and acting as an extremely lazy c**t or Walliams pretending to be a troony. The whole of both shows were well rounded without playing it safe.

Panel shows have always been low-tier (Is it dolphin in a bathtub?) however, you can see the turning point in around 2014 when the BBC mandated they could not have all male panels. That decision was not the cause of the destruction of the British comedy scene however, it was the writing on the wall to what direction it would quickly take. That decision symbolically coincides/represents the turning point where British comedy gets truly dragged with unfunny diversity hires and the neutering of what could be said.

Her early standup was mildly entertaining at best
Since her early days she's emulated black culture more and more
Her inclusion in most UK tv is simply as a DEI hire
If you watch her behind the scenes and non comedy interviews you can see her whole persona is fake
She's probably making big money from this racket so who can blame her.
