One look at her and you can just tell she never fricks Black folk. Probably thinks Black folk are disgusting and lazy and they stink which is very fair and it's true too
I saw a clip of the show on youtube once, apparently a woman LITERALLY falls in love with Satan and they try to make satan some morally good guy during the clip. It was the most pathetic thing I've ever seen on a WB show.
He is but he is not really though. Lucifer is hardly the Lucifer from the Sandman/Lucifer comics. The show is just a episodic crime show with a romance aimed at teenage girls and whales on tumblr.
>they try to make satan some morally good guy during the clip
I think revolting against a god that worships israelites and hates goys is the epitome of moral good though. Satan literally is the good guy.
like most netflix originals, its fun for like half a season until you realize that they will never do any better than the setup for the show and the rest is contrived carbon copy plotlines from better medi
Nothing like the comic if that is what you are going in looking for. As for the show itself, I saw some of the S1 episodes and it was okayish but nothing special to the point it is not particularly worth watching even before it quickly turns into sludge. From what clips I have seen of later seasons it gets more wild but, it just seems like what I am led to believe all the capeshit shows on the CW were like.
It's a procedural show where the secondary plot and minimal lore are more interesting than the main murder whodunit
As a standalone show it'a all right, as an adaptation it's atrocious
The lead actor is great in the role, the rest of the cast range from tolerable to horrendous, the quality of the writing goes up and down like crazy and the action scenes are pretty mediocre.
Unless you really like procedurals I would stay away from it.
>Dude Chloe I'm not worthy of your love! >Okay maybe I'm worthy of your love >... >Dude Chloe I'm not worthy of your love
And don't even get me started on the whole Rory bullshit
It's one of those quirky cop shows with mismatched leads having a will-they-won't-they relationship. Nothing really original. But it's competent enough comfy watch, and the dude playing Lucifer is pretty good hamming it up. A complete shit as an adaptation of the source material, but inoffensive and fun on its own.
>making her have a relationship with the main detectives ex husband was the dumbest crap
when did she do that? i only remember her banging a nerd that turned out to be a serial killer
Lucifer’s great, but Hellblazer seems kind of messy with so many different writers. Should I just read it all from the start or is there a specific run that’s recommended?
The only person who ever recommended me this was this dumb b***h at work and the only thing she had to say about it was that the lead was super hot. This is all I need to know I have to avoid it.
Read from issue one till when he's dating this girl with glasses haunted by her aborted kid and the ghost is made of the scabs from Constantine's skin curse. I don't remember the issue number but that's basically when you can stop reading it.
On a side note, before starting Hellblazer read Moore's Swamp Thing, you'll need it to get some of the events in the former.
First two episodes start out good but then it turns into a episodic crime show

Yeah it's whacky as shit. Doesn't take itself seriously.

He's the DC version of Satan created by Neil Gaimen in the 90s

>Is Lucifer any good?
Hellblazer and Lucifer are the best graphic novels ever written. Just fricking read them.

ia this that latina who took her ass out in Dexter
sauce
the episodic stuff is ok but it gets old fast, the supernatural stuff is garbage
There was a scene where Lucifer played 'All Along the Watchtower' on piano which was great. The rest was dull
first two seasons are guilty pleasure for me
