The similarities are purely surface levels unless Adventure Time also became the only show allowed to have a kid and his friend go in adventures. That being said if you like early AT that show has more in common with that that what the show eventually evolved into.

The group that made Lucky Pie is crowdfunding a new show right now. Saber either just came across Lucky Pie now as a result of hearing about the crowdfund campaign or he's trying to give them a boost by talking about the old show they made. At least his delivery got better. He speaks with less of a halting cadence which was fricking infuriating as shit and he's doing his fake laughing less which was also always a bit tough to listen to.
Now if only DaftPina would stop speaking with such a predictable tone where in the middle of the sentence he holds a syllable and pitches his voice up, then pitches down as he winds down the sentence, that would be fricking great. When your entire channel revolves around talking, you'd think you'd learn how to talk. Also, why does he hold his hands up like a robot EVERY single time he puts himself on camera?
