    >good-hearted person joins the police force thinking they really are going to change things for the better, stop crime, help the citizenry
    >becomes jaded over time at how nakedly corrupt most cops are
    >how endemic crime is
    >how the same people keep committing the same crimes and never seem to reform
    >how hopelessly bureaucratic the justice system is

It's a tale as old as time, Anon, Judy has her equivalent in numerous TV shows and movies. Serpico comes to mind.

This could be a really interesting plot point for Zootopia 2. Judy and Nick come face to face with just how corrupt the police force really is, but they refuse to break and sink to its level.

You should call Disney and tell him to let you write Zootopia 2

A sudden character swap like that doesn't seem like something they'd do at all. If they wanted a darker plot to begin with they'd have just stuck with the dystopian future their first movie was drafted as.

Nihilism is a logical progression to all intelligent forms of life.
Existence is temporary. The universe is empty and apathetic.

Nihilism is the progression of morons that can't accept a world that doesn't require meaning so they give up on it instead of finding meaning for themselves.

Feeling special, absurdist / existentialist? It matters little...

Why does it have to matter?

Life doesn't need meaning. Only people do.

The progression comes from Judy realizing that the eweish citizens control the police too, and she gets jailed after a criminal dies from drugs while resisting arrest after she knees around his neck to save him from dying by excited delirium.

Yeah, I could see how having an abortion would have that effect on someone. It's not a popular route to go but even if you're pro-choice there's nothing wrong with feeling bad about the choice you made, while still maintaining that having the choice is for the best.
