Consider that Marinette has always been insecure and self conscious, and when trying to figure out how to use your new super powers, especially when you're that unsure of yourself, well, it isn't helpful, that's for sure. Even Cat Noir in the show didn't make those kinds of comments. He tried to be helpful. In the movie, at least at the beginning, his wieneriness is overexaggerated.

Could also be the age group and it being an echo chamber. 4ch has a certain audience and now most of the leak tourists have gone, it's back to the usual 30-40 anons. We don't exactly have deep discussions about the source material in here, it's mostly posting the same handful of things until Cinemaphile gets flooded again.
This isn't a slight - the anon part is def a draw for industry pros, and it's comfy if that's all you want from fandom engagement.
Tumblr and twitter have way more active (and younger) fans for MLB, so of course they're going to have a lot of loud toxic fans. There's plenty of chill fans everywhere, you just need to find the niche and block people/tags/whatever for the smallest thing - and hey, you're back to 30-40 likeminded enough fans again. Stay off the main tag or get blocking.
