The last two episodes were entirely about Charlie trying to prove the Hotel as a concept, first to her father and then to heaven itself, Her plea to which seemingly actually convinced at least one of them.

Season 1 should have been episodic redemption of sinners to ease people into the setting, and slowly but surely introduce characters instead of going 1 million miles an hour.

Last I heard, we could expect the next episode in March. I haven't bothered to confirm that. My main source of info is here on Cinemaphile and there's been next to no HB discussion here for what feels like months.
