Sol was never depicted in her comic strips, only that kid that was a loser that even butterflies could push and the bully who took the kid's bicycle, I think that comic strip never come to an end also, so I'd imagine that after Star fails stopping the bully (even her cat betrays her) Sol would arrive and stop the guy, return the bicycle to the kid and they would become "rivals" in Star's eyes.

I don't think Star was ever created intentionally to represent autism. In the show, it's even less so. In the original comics, I can actually see some type of autism being presented but even then it feels more like a joke.
I would love for a show to accurately showcase what being an autistic girl is like without trying to be woke about it but part of it has to be that it's genuine or at least intentional. And no, not the kind where we always come out on top but like, genuinely disgusting and butthole-ish girls.

This is an unrelated rant but I can’t respect SVTFOE or Owl House as shows. I understand that shows change from their concept designs and original pitch/premise, but these shows are completely unrecognizable, I don’t consider them the same show at all, it is practically a ship of Theseus. Nefcy and Dana completely sold their souls for artistic representation to create a show they didn’t want, to write plots they didn’t want, and got a fandom who is only interested in the completely mutilated new show which is completely unrecognizable. How can any self respecting artist allow suck creative cuckoldry? The characters, the premise, the plot, it is completely destroyed from the original intent. Both nefcy and Dana cucked themselves and made their shows worse for it

I was excited for SVTFOE because I followed the old comics that would sometimes get posted on Tumblr back in the day. It felt really true to my experiences growing up because I’d often even into high school pretend to have powers or be from another dimension to cope with what I would later find out was autism. I had very few friends and the ones that could stand me, so a show in which a young girl grows to make friends in her own weird way or experiences bullying would have been great! A lot more sincere and heartfelt and honestly, a lot funnier than this bullshit.

In the show as it actually exists this is not a legitimate complaint because nowhere did they lead you to believe that Star is either literally or metaphorically autistic. Yes its a different story in the early source material, but the series as a text is seperate from that. It became a completely different thing about a completely different character.
She's the way she is in the show because of actual culture clash and a hyper-permissive elite upbringing. She is shown as being highly socially functional-she has no real issues with others within her own class of her own magical culture who she grew up interacting with, and she has many friends of this type before the series starts.
I like to make fun of them for being delusional trannies but other than that I don't care that much.
