Is the lion king worth rewatching? It’s been so long since I saw it and I remember it, but does it stand up to the test of time?
And what about the recent cgi version? Is that one any good?
Is the lion king worth rewatching? It’s been so long since I saw it and I remember it, but does it stand up to the test of time?

I think so
SEEEEEEEEEXO
It’s a lion
Out of 10!
the lion king made into the rapist lion furry i am today
>Is the lion king worth rewatching?
Yes, but only the original Lion King movie, not the soulless 2019 version that I'll never watch. The original Lion King movie from 1994 was the first movie I ever saw in a cinema, so I have a soft spot for it. I was 6 at that time.
So?
>So?
Would you really a talking lion?
Out of 10
Why can't I find a woman like that?
Because you're too much of a lazy irresponsible gay to be a zookeeper
More
Here's 5 and half hours of the man and his love for his lioness.
She's taller than he is
As much as I love animals, I can never get close to them sadly. They all smell bad.
A pet dog is my ceiling. Even then I probably wouldn't adopt one because I'm always online.
Doubtful you smell very good either if you are terminally online
What I mean is I'd rather be online than care for a dog. I used to have a dog as a kid growing up although that was before I started to use the internet.
you just know.
Now post Vitani
Catussy
Pussussy
What were they thinking during THAT scene?
Just imagine...
Why does the mom turn into a cyclope ?
At least pops was supportive
Men understand each other.
>it's fictional i draw what I want
"blacked" artists suddenly make more sense I guess
>arivals
>plebian
What the frick is this godawful art style
Wtf are you on, it's cute
The only thing well drawn is the animal is the problem.
and?
Yes
Yes
No
Frick no
There's people on Cinemaphile who pretend they wouldn't.
AUUUUUGH PLAP PLAP PLAP PLAP PLAP PLAP
SPLRRRT SPUURT
Why is she so much sexier than any real human woman could be?
This is furry porn.
yeah and?
Love furrys.
Nala Del Rey
hehe
Unpopular opinion
Furry girls look better bald, & should be bald. With the exception of animals with natural manes, like horses & hyenas. Yes, I know some lionesses can have manes, but Nala doesn't.
It depends on the furry girl. I don't want to imagine a bald Gadget Hackwrench
Not always.
they look like they frick human guys
I generally agree, especially when artists put random weird colored human hair on normal looking anthros. But while most designs don't need it, some would look dumb without hair, look at the world of warcraft anthro races for example.
I mostly agree
Unpopular opinion these days:
Yiff in Hell, Furgay
Lussy is good even though I like hyenas more
2013 was ten years ago grandpa
Most of the Disney movies hold up.

Yikes
Post *that* picture
>that scene with the "bedroom eyes"
Man, I remember watching it years later then learning they weren't just reunited friends, but she totally wanted him to frick her.
>wanted
He did.
I mean frick her right then. I don't think they fricked that exact night. Don't they end up getting into a little fight a bit later because Simba doesn't want to go back? I mean, I know they had a few cubs after Scar was defeated.
>I don't think they fricked that exact night
Anon... Don't tell me you also missed what the song A Whole New World in Aladdin was an euphemism for?
>the song A Whole New World in Aladdin was an euphemism for?
Magic carpet rides, right?
...Yeah, there's a carpet and riding, alright.
It's kino, mate. I enjoy the sequel too.
The sequel is pretty much the best disney sequel of that era.
All the others were trash.
A-all the character development happens off screen! It sucks!
No. It happens literally right in front of your eyes.
>Simba getting lessons from Mufasa on how to be a good king and part of the circle of life
>Simba learning actions have consequences and dangers of life and death and that being a prince comes with responsibility that he cannot take lightly
>Simba traumatized by his father's death, taking him out of the innocence of childhood, and burdening him with guilt.
>Simba escaping his guilt and responsibility by embracing nihilistic and epicurean philosophy of Timon and Pumba
>Nala appears and reminds him of his responsibility and the consequences of his desertion of duty (Scar's tyrannical rule)
>Simba led on a journey to the underworld by monkey wizard to reconnect and rediscover the lessons of his father and inherit his divine right to be king.
>Simba returns and challenges Scar for Kingship and sets the world aright.
What are you talking about?
I'm quoting a certain YouTuber popular with Cinemaphile
NTA, but who? Those RLM homosexuals?
RLM doesn't review animated movies.
They should do a cartoon video. Maybe bring in someone from Cartoon Youtube, although I get the feeling that Rich knows a lot about cartoons.
They have had to watch animation during Best of the Worst and Black Spine Specials but obviously that is not their group's area of interest.
>although I get the feeling that Rich knows a lot about cartoons
He probably does since he awkwardly brought up Danny Phantom in one video
His knowledge of Danny phantom probably comes from Randy
They should just sit him down with Saberspark and have them watch an awful Lion King ripoff.
Yes, but do this so you can fully enjoy the movie.
When the Hakuna Matata Song ends, stop the movie. They're dancing into the horizon at the end of the musical number, turn it off there. Take out the disk if you're watching it on DVD or Blu-Ray, or VHS if you're an oldgay. The rest of the movie is silly and pointless, because you've probably seen it a million times already.
That is the best ending to the Lion King, because here, Simba spends the rest of his life with Timone and Pumba, as the Three Bachelor Amigos kicking back and enjoying the lush jungle life. Pride Rock, the ghost of Mufasa, pointless responsibilities, Nala manipulating Simba to come back with sex and deceptive charms, all goes the way of the Dodo. They Party with No Worries, Hakuna Matata Baby! YEAH!
As for the CGI version, we don't talk about that abomination.
That picture is very unrealistic, lions don't do that in a documentary. Also the color saturation is too high, and there's no rim lighting.
>Applies Live Action Physics and nature documentaries to Cartoons
It's a Disney Movie, Calm Down.
I directed an animated Disney movie that made a billion dollars, I know what I'm talking about. It was actually half live action though because I created a VR camera rig so I could shoot it like a documentary.
Simba can't abandon his responsibility
I wonder how many Americans know this is the voice of Mr Bean
Shenzi evoked something in me when I watched the movie as a kid. I wanted her to lick me and then stick her tongue in my mouth.
What do you think her breath smells like?
My cum
shit
>tfw no hyena gf
I want to shrink down and lay on her tongue and lick it and then for her to swallow me
What is it about Shenzi that invoke macrophile lust?
I don't know but the whole bug-thing "slimy yet satisfying" definitely tickled me as a kid
I wish Simba slurped me up like that worm
Shenzi brings out all sorts of fetishes in people that I understand very poorly
Can't imagine how brainfried you have to be to get off to this trash.
Feline women are the best.
Wait until you discover canine ones
Can't imagine how midwitted you have to be to virtuesignal on an anonymous imageboard.
I don’t get it either. There seems to be a curve to smut. Some people read stories, some look at playboy, some watch porn, some watch hentia and some watch furry porn.
I rewatched with my wife recently and pointed out how obviously they sexualized the lioness.
She agreed, but told me I was weird for pointing it out.
your wife must be frigid.
neat
Been watching it several times cause my 3yo daughter loves it and let me just say it is the most pristine kino you’ll have seen in a long time. I don’t think there’s any other Disney movie where literally every single song is an absolute banger.
>The Lion King thread
>Deleted posts everywhere
>Even that anon who posted Mr.Smithers
RIP, I'll wait for a Maid Marian thread to post in
Make one. Be the change you want to see.
The first half is a 10/10, second is a fine 7/10.
>what about the recent cgi version?
Pure cancer, both the death of entertainment and the death of cinema as an form of art at the same time.
Only if you're already a furry and intend to teach your kids (by your bull) to learn the furry ways of life.
Aho! Look ahead! I spot mini-Sonichus!
Lion King’s cool I guess *cough cough* vksuika*cough*
>thread stayed up all day
Jannies, something you want to tell us?
Jannies holocaust'd almost the entire thread earlier, then camped the thread and picked off a few more posters as they came in. Oddly, they left the thread up with a handful of posts instead of just burning and salting the thread all together
that's salty. and they're not even paid.
jannies from Cinemaphile is 90% trannies and 10% furries, intermixed.
I'm not sold on those numbers. If there were that many trannies, no way the I Am Jazz threads would be allowed on Cinemaphile
Why? I never watched that shit and only know about it because of you, but why would they be contrary to a troony show?
>why would they be contrary to a troony show?
I won't derail The Lion King thread, but if you're curious, drop by the Jazz thread and have a look. Just a few posts in should answer that question
I dunno, how can I relate to a bunch of lions on the screen?
I need to see a fat brillo-pad-haired negress to snap her fingers and mmm-hmm to feel some representation.
>fat brillo-pad-haired negress to snap her fingers and mmm-hmm to feel some representation
That's who voiced cub Nala and Shenzi, so that's something
Ever since I was a kid I wanted to be shrunk to 3 inches tall and then get utterly dominated and eventually swallowed whole by Shenzi
Eddie Redmayne was robbed. He should have been the voice of Simba in the Lion King remake. Nala was his childhood crush, and his name even invokes Simba's red mane. He is also a far more talented singer than Don gLover, especially in the context of musical theater. In a production as incompetent as the Les Misérables movie, Eddie Redmayne was one of the few actors who actually carried it.
I'm pretty sure hes rich enough to commission his own personal stash of Nala lewds.
I wouldn't be surprised if some of them are on E621 already.
They better be. To make all of that art and then just keep it to yourself is criminal
how can you be attracted to a dog's snout?
It's sinple really
try and keep up anon
>Thread party wiped again
This is the most dangerous thread on Cinemaphile right now to post in
I've seen the first lion king movie, but I don't think I've seen any sequels.
Any recommendations?
There's a scene in one of them where Timon asks Shenzi to marry him iirc
>Timon asks Shenzi to marry him
The animators didn't go out of their way to make Shenzi appealing to look at whatsoever. Nala I can understand, but I don't know what Shenzi's appeal is, in the movie or outside of it. Whoopie as her VA doesn't help either
You either get it or you don't.
Shenzi's a bad b***h though.
I saw the second direct to DVD sequel, but remember nothing. The main female cub character was cute though
It's just Hamlet for kids. Watch a good production of Hamlet.
What is it about lionesses and yeens?
its a timeless classic because of the hand drawn animation
So who posts AI slop from /trash/ first?
the absence of AI slop is what separates Cinemaphile furry threads from /trash/ furry threads
I don't understand watching kids movies when you're an adult, unless it is with your own kids. There's no question about the quality of the Lion King, but if you are a grown man, what can you even get out of it? Especially if you have seen it already.
horny
It's a nice romp every once in awhile, like any movie you enjoyed is, also
The entire movie is a build up for king of pride rock, I need to watch it for the crescendo.
Absolutely bizarre comment. I wonder what the frick you “get out of” anything.
What is it that you get from an "adult" movie that you can't from a "kids" movie
Except porn and even that's arguable
If you actually have to ask this, you are unironically a full moron.
What do you get out of talking to adults that you don't get from talking to toddlers, anon? Why not go hang out at the preschool, pick boogers, build blocks and read the rainbow fish if it's the same thing to you? Fricking downie.
>I cant get anything out of talking to a toddler because I am only interested in mature adult topics for mature adults such as myself
Children are sweet and a delight to talk to and make the world feel new again. I’d sooner talk to a toddler than the average midwit adult.
Okay, you can go play in the playpen with the other diaper-shitting toddlers and recite your ABCs, then. It's one thing to be with kids to teach and direct them, or enjoy making them happy; it's an entirely different thing to put yourself on their level and genuinely enjoy consuming media designed to stimulate the mind of an actual preschooler.
>>What do you get out of talking to adults that you don't get from talking to toddlers, anon?
False equivalency, homosexual
Kid movies are still made by adults, they just have toned down themes, but generally only on the surface. You can still read TLK like a mature story (Hamlet, or something else) that a toddler would never write.
no.
Am I banned?
yes
watch hamlet with kenneth branagh
Post more lions
It's hard when I keep getting warnings and timeouts.
Why is tribal so hot?
Cuz it taps into your caveman brain literally
I've been gay all my life but I would frick the shit out of those two.
watch the prequel when mufasa and scar kill all the male lions that are not of their lineage
what’s that movie called?
nvm kiddo
It's a movie for children. Do you have a son/daughter/niece/nephew to watch it with? That's the only time I rewatch cartoons made for children.
Imagine unironically sitting down as a 30 year old man and watching a fricking sing-a-long cartoon by yourself in your room. Couldn't be me.
So what do you do as a 30 year old man who sits by himself in his room?
Usually work, when not working I study or consume entertainment meant for fully developed brains. I'm certainly not watching Dora, pointing at the screen and shouting like you down's syndrome sufferers apparently do.
SEX SEX SEEEEEEX
I’m surprised this thread has survived this long
Mods are gods.
Villainous anthro pussy…
It's the ultimate goal in life.
God I wish there was more auntie Scar lewds
It's a shame
That's something I'd expect a house cat to do. Now I know where they got it from
No matter how big they are, cats are all the same morons.
Wait until you see what they do with boxes. Odd though that puma's are the only big cats that purr.
Pumas and Cheetahs are not actually big cats proper. They're in the same branch as small cats, but they evolved to be large.
Animals obviously have a perception of reality that's quite close to a human one. Like it's impossible to deny after seeing stuff like this, they obviously have a concept of humor and jokes.
What's going on here?
One of the dogs chewed the meat stick, and he's interrogating the dogs. The big dogs all finger the little one for the deed.
Poor little bastard. Three witnesses all testifying against him. He's fricked
owner emotionally abusing his pets over a some shitty supermarket sausage that probably cost him a pittance
>three white dogs place all the blame on the little brown dog
baka
What the frick was his problem?
KWAB
Cute
lionesses get the job done
>Lioness deep throat–swabbing your wiener
>Fits your balls in her mouth and sucks them too for good measure
oh frick, that's no a good death

Anyone else think the lions in the Lion King have weirdly beautifully mouths?
Yes, they did a nice job with their lips.
Mayor Diane Foxington owes me sex.

another thinly veiled furry thread.

And
best thread on Cinemaphile
in what way?
So who is your favourite lion king character?
vitani
So, this thread shows the new janny is a furry.
Yes
And that’s a good thing!
It’s one of the best Disney animated movies and for that reason I believe it to be timeless. It holds up well I think.
>one day and 14 hours
Glorious.
the cgi version is whatever. it's clearly very high budget, but it felt to me like it was missing a lot of the emotion and expressiveness, to forgive the cliche, soul, of the 2D version. the music numbers also didn't translate very well into realistic CGI.
JANNNNNNNNNNNNY
Only homos would report that
Confirmed homo
Janny is actually, le good? Best thread in ages, fur chads we fricking won
