What rumor? Ewing is working on multiple stories for Marvel at the moment, and he's rejected working for DC in the past.

He's literally an Anti-DC guy. So unless Zaslav dropped a bag of money in his lap then I don't see it happening.

But he's a good writer for Marvel. So I hope he stays. He has very interesting ideas.

he's doing immortal thor at the moment, so that's unlikely, but honestly, it's not like there's anyone working at DC capable of properly setting up a new status quo

They have a few writers who’d do fine if the editorial homosexuals weren’t so obsessed with making everyone BIPOC/LBGTQ and event spam.

Tomasi, Williamson and adams would all make a super comfy DCU. They’re clearly being hamstrung by literal wienersuckers.

hasn't Tomasi just left with Johns?

Yes, it's the BIPOC/LGBTQ and event spam that made Williamson's Flash, Batman, Robin, Dark Crisis, Knight Terrors, and Batman & Robin all shitty books.

Events are mandated nobody can write a good one. His Superman would be great if Jon was a kid and could be involved. Instead he just avoids the character to avoid being blasted by everyone.

Ignoring that the constant gaying of characters is a problem is honestly a sign that you’re a paid employee. Blow your homosexual brains out. If Alan Scott wasn’t made a homosexual and written by a homosexual who basically made it all a shit post it would be selling better. If Action and Superman was mired by people still boycotting it half a decade after Bendis ruined jon it would be selling better. If they hired more than cheap ass Spaniards and Italians to do their art their comics would sell better.

Wilkinson’s Batman, Robin, Flash, Batman/Superman we’re all solid to good. His B&R would be great if it wasn’t drawn by Stevie fricking wonder. You don’t pay for comics and barely read them though so you don’t matter.

hasn't Tomasi just left with Johns?

He’s still doing the sinister sons so it’s not like he left. He’s just doing comics also with them.

You seriously think GODSPEED and THE ABYSS are a good characters?
You think creating a super-secret unknown great grandmother for Damian was a good story? That creating a "best fighters in the world" tournament and filling it with homeless street vigilantes and acrobat cat burglars was believable?
Did you actually read these books?

Sneaking in Parker’s Santa comic with the rest of that garbage particularly.

A guy in his 90 with this ammount of money after being the co creator of Spider-Man, X-Men and the Hulk is absolutely ridiculous and yes barely rich not "absolutely rich", also that's not how inflation works unless you think he was just wasting all his money or leaving it under his pillow. YOU are the one who knows nothing about anything.

Are you ESL? I said he was absolutely rich as in, “yes absolutely, he was rich” not he was rich enough to buy a third world country.

                >also that's not how inflation works
It literally is. Which I is why the highest paid athletes, like Jim Rice for example, would be considered the poorest athlete of the modern era.

                >YOU are the one who knows nothing about anything.

He wasn't poor but wasn't really rich in the grand scheme of things. Why do you think he was still going to cons to signs shit despite being in his 90s and semi senile? He needed the cash.

No it ins't, Stan Lee died at 2018 plus I mentioned the value of his property which would adjust over the years, if Stan Lee just invested on treasure, stocks, etf, real state or literally anything rather than simply leaving his money on paper to rot he would end up richer not poorer over the years. You really don't know what you are talking about.

Adams and Williams are shit and Tomasi, at his best, is basically a Nicieza-tier writer.

        >co-create Wolverine
        >don't get shit from Marvel
        >co-create Lucius Fox
        >make enough money to buy a house

The latter was because of Levitz and they got rid of that once he was booted.

Even if there isn’t a mandate many don’t because marvel doesn’t pay as well for adaptations as DC does. Even DC is pretty israeli about residuals. Marvel provides absolutely no incentive to creators to actually create anything.

That being said Ewing is dreadful so it really doesn’t matter either way.

I imagined then since Stan Lee said very often that he was not rich.

It's quite sad when you think about that, the guy got infamous as a backstaber who betrayed his friends for extra money but in the end he was far less rich than even Bill Watterson who was famous for giving up most of his rights. Marvel deals must be something close to illegal and there is no way they are in any way fair.

Stan Lee was absolutely rich. He just wasn’t as rich as teenagers imagined. He got a yearly check from marvel unlike anyone else and absolutely got a better residual deal than most.

I’m not try to be a dick but you don’t know much about comics please lurk more or leave.

            >"My daughter was looking at the internet the other day and read that Stan Lee has an estimated $250 million," Lee said. "I mean, that’s ridiculous! I don’t have $200 million. I don’t have $150 million. I don’t have $100 million or anywhere near that."

Both of his houses were a at the time of his death around 8 million dollars, which is not bad but not huge for a 90 year old guy, truth is as fair as we know he was poorer than pewdiepie and markplier.

MacKay does his "uses obscure characters" things way better because he has his own identity as a writer and gives off the impression he's actually readthe appearances of the characters he uses. I half-suspect that Ewing's use of obscure characters is part of his Morrison Skinwalking because Morrison made his name reviving obscure characters.
