hell no
Marvel comics has been objectively superior to DC comics since the 60s. But it has no connections to the movies.
This. And no matter how saccharine and toothless the brand has become after Disney, "the world outside your window" foundation has helped the Marvel characters
>Movies based on Marvel comics made by Marvel Studios are successful
>Movies based on Marvel comics made by Sony are failures
>Movies based on Marvel comics made by Fox are failures
>"the comics are just inherently superior"
>Movies based on Marvel comics made by Sony are failures
based on Marvel comics made by Sony are failures
>pretending Raimi-Man and FoX-Men were failures
>Raimi's Spider-Man

The only good superhero movie was the 1978 Superman
Go to bed, gramps
It's past your naptime, OP
No, it's due to majorly two reasons;
One.) They wanted to get to Avengers levels of profits too quick. And thus they spent themselves too soon as opposed to pacing themselves for a better build-up and did more world-building before their major crossover event.
Two.) They hired one of the worst filmmakers in the business today to be the creative lead of the franchise. With a fundamental misunderstanding of the characters put into his charge because he has the writing tastes of an edgy 12 year old boy.
The MCUl isn't perfect either. Especially in recent years, but DC set themselves up to fail right out the gate. Just straight up poor business decisions all around.
DC COMICS ARE BETTER THAN MARVEL
DC just couldn't string together a bunch of hits like Marvel did is all. There's always drama kind of like with MCU right now with everybody getting metoo'd
>DC COMICS ARE BETTER THAN MARVEL
No. Marvel deals with real characters with struggles, relationships, etc. DC is just power fantasies with no substance.
>t. never read a comic
Superheroes are for escaping reality. I don't want to read about that real life stuff. I want ideal superheroes with happy relationships (except Batman).
>Marvel deals with real characters with struggles, relationships, etc. DC is just power fantasies with no substance.
This. The meme is literally true.
Marvel is boring compared to DC because it force-fits everything into the same continuity and everything has to feel like a giant garbage crossover that's impossible to get into. DC is more open to miniseries and other shit that's just easier to digest and feels realer.
Also DC feels more fantastical whereas Marvel is constantly just "dude tech and aliens lmao" shit.
>If I put it in all caps, that will show them it's true
Jesus wept.
No, I'm pretty sure it was the inherent moronation of the suits in charge of the DC films more than anything
No, DC kicked their ass with cartoons.
Just lack of vision, they could have make batman their iron man, as silly as that sounds, but just in the movie context
Also this, the animated universe was miles ahead of marvel stuff, but there's no respect
No. The big problem with the DC movies seems to be they hire people to make the films who aren't fans of the characters. Batman is ok with killing in the movies, Superman isn't an optimist etc. And whenever they do get a reasonable hit the company proceeds to executive meddle it into the ground like the Rock refusing to be a villain for Shazam and insists he fight Superman instead probably caused the whole fiasco of Shazam 2 failing since the hyped Black Adam being a villain in the 1st movie.
You and I both know comics don't matter to the people watching these movies, so no.
No. You're a moron. It's because the suits were moronic and tried to play catch up instead of making a good movie and center their universe around it.
Disney and Sony allowed Marvel IPs to be great. WB stifles DC's creativity. If it wasn't for WB, DC would flourish.
Dc rushed to their avengers so it didn't have the emotional depth of the avengers
