Is there a character that can even touch Peggy Carter? And I'm not talking about regular Peggy Carter. Hell I'm not even talking about What If Peggy Carter.

I'm talking about Earth-82111 What If Captain Carter on super soldier serum with her vibranium alloy shield, wearing the vibranium Infinity Armor with all 6 Infinity Stones giving her infinite control over Time, Space, Reality, Power, Mind and Soul, wielding the radioactive magic sword of Fairy Hulk and Hela's helmet allowing her to control the dead alongside Yondu's fin, equipped with the Ten Rings, Mjolnir, Gungnir, All-Black, a pair of webshooters, Falcon's wings and all of Hawkeye's arrows, carrying an unlimited storage of Pym Particles, access to Scarlet Witch's Chaos Magic, control of the Hydra Stomper, wearing the Venom and Carnage symbiotes, implanted with the X-Gene and Iron Man's Arc Reactor and exposed to Terrigan Mists with a Cosmic Cube and the Ultimate Nullifier in her back pocket, listening to Star Lord's mixtape and after saying "I can do this all day."

Having the Infinity Ultron suit makes her the most op character in the universe. The rest is salad dressing

Better than season 1 which sucked until the final 2 episodes fall off a cliff. What If as a whole eats hard.

Worse than season 1, especially the finale that just spent its whole runtime jacking off two characters instead of a teamup. One of those characters has the presence of a plank of wood and who's whole character is "Native american and good with lasers so she's the bestest".

Anyway with a brain can stop her. b***h had the Infinity gauntlet and she still did dumb shit like bash her shield into Strange Supreme and ask Kahorri to use her powers despite the fact that she also had the space stone.

Also when Strange made his duplicates in Infinity War, Thanos just made them disappear whereas when Strange Supreme did it Captain Carter just made more of herself.

This woman is so incompetent in general that her regular version became Director of SHIELD and HYDRA infiltrated and took over her organization whereas in Captain Carter's absence both Bucky and Steve were able to defeat all of HYDRA while they were running SHIELD.

I swear that writer had never actually seen GOTG2, none of it makes sense with the plot of that movie. It wouldn't be so bad but it also relies all the backstory and everything about Ego to that movie.

So if you've seen the movie you know the characters and why they're there, but nothing you're seeing makes sense and contradicts the movie constantly. If you haven't seen the movie, nothing makes sense and people just spout random ass bullshit with no means of understanding them.

He was ironically trying to help you with the plot hole sarcasm.

Completely failed because yeah him not just turning on the purple goo seed right away like he did in the movie is a pretty big plot hole. I mean we saw it. He turned it on across the entire universe right away. Nothing stopped him. What's with this weird extra plothole of the powers working off planet and doing it one by one?

Ego needed to siphon energy from adult Quill to do that. Maybe kid Quill doesn't have enough energy for a simultaneous detonation.

                >Maybe kid Quill doesn't have enough energy for a simultaneous detonation.
He's a pseudo-celestial and one powerful enough to nuke Ego on earth. Even if this was the reason, they really needed to give any kind of explanation for this massive change instead of just nothing. I mean, why not just wait a bit? He wanted a child, he wanted his child to be onboard with the plan, he finally got a celestial powered kid like he always wanted, why not just do one long range activation at a time? He can do the entire galaxy with Quill as an adult but not one at a time as a kid? Oh, I'm sorry, he can do one at a time, but on the planet where he's got his full power, so what the frick is the point of Peter at all?

And why would he send him in a ship that can be downed by rockets? He has the Mantis-ship if he needs something that should be able to wreck earth tech if he needs it. This might as well be a whole other story they started after the first 2 acts with nothing explained.

          Anonymous

          >Made sense to me
It made sense to you that the episode takes place entirely on earth when the central plotpoint of the entire film was "Peter's powers don't work off Ego"? I mean that's the whole ass plot, none of the Celestial kid powers work off of the planet.

And it also makes sense to you that now he's sending peter off to activate seeds one by one, when the movie's entire 3rd act was just "Ego has Peter so he can just turn them all on, right then. Nothing else needed." The concept of this episode goes against the entire plan.

And then just to really add stupid back to back, they have Ego come down and try to activate the seed. Which, you know, if that was an option why the frick would he need any kid anywhere what's even the fricking point he could've just done that instead of making a kid, and then they even double down by ending with Peter absorbing a seed which lets him use his powers because "A part of ego is inside him now" even though he's been using it just fine this whole episode without needing any part of Ego. They fixed a problem they deleted and the entire episode wouldn't work with if it existed.

Not to mention if Quill by some plot contrivance was being sent from planet to planet activating seeds, Ego would've been happy as hell and right there with him. His entire character was wanting someone on his level to go with him in his plan. Even if he couldn't activate them all at once, even if he could just send Peter alone, the one major thing we know about his character is he wouldn't. He would want to do it as father and son.

Nothing about this episode works with the movie.

You know every time someone posts that "Hero goes through a hundred faceless baddies but can't bring himself to kill the big bad" meme I usually ask for examples and nobody can really name all that much. It almost never happens. Then comes this show to remind you that even stuff that didn't happen that got mocked for being stupid isn't too low of a writing angle for them to take.

You're misreading it anon. All the bullshit powerups aren't to showcase her as the bestest in the first place, they're only there to try and justify her soloing Strange. The decision to have her be there at all in the first place, and alone, and in a good few episodes prior, and apparently Watcher's pet now despite their conflict in multiversal aid; all that is the pushing you should be hating on.

        Anonymous

This was kinda bothering me in the first season, but where are the other Watchers? It seems like Uatu is the only person watchiung the entire multiverse, so who was his oath of noninterference made to, and why considering it seems like him violating it isn't a big deal?

          Anonymous

I mean his oath makes sense regardless, a sorta twisted "great power great responsibility" thing. A being at his level could resolve a shitload of conflicts, to a point where nothing happens in universes. The morality is debatable but in the context of an MCU multiverse there's not a lot of value in everyone just chilling until the magic bald man shows up and says "hey don't let that guy inside the reactor, trust me bro." It only makes things stranger (ha) that Strange Supreme gets to sort of do that job, and seemingly doing it beyond just trimming out the would-be multiversal stompers. Honestly it's not exactly heroic but sacrificing that demographic in the name of bringing back a world he destroyed seems entirely fine to me. They didn't even have to focus on Muh Christine they could've just given him a twisted desire for redemption.

The Nova Nebula episode was alright, until the last minutes where they pull everything out of their asses to end it.
The whole "I expected a 4th betrayal" makes me think it was an afterthought to kill Ronan and close any chance of a sequel.
