Is there a specific order I should read Hellboy and it's associated spinoffs in? Also, Hellboy/Mignolaverse thread.

Dude I just want a reading order. I have always wanted to get into this universe since the movies but I have no idea what all is involved and what I need to find.

I wouldn't bother. Hellboy is carried 100% on it's aesthetics and how cool he looks while his actual character is really bland and the story goes out of it's way to make itself as boring and unhype as possible by ruining multiple interesting set-ups time and time again.
The personality Hellboy has in the movies is nothing like how he acts in the books.

Then why is he so many people's favorite character?

Mixture of a strong character design, aesthetics over the guy's art and the usual hipster crew. Or they're just movie only fans

Naw man Hellboy is genuinely popular as a character and series. I've talked positively about Hellboy irl with people more than any other comic or character and I'm pretty sure no one likes the gdt movies enough to call HB their favorite character. Go ahead and not like him, but it's disingenious to say he's only popular among hipsters.

Yeah, amongst people who actually read comics on Cinemaphile, Hellboy is probably the most popular character outside the big two.

Every Cinemaphilebro goes through this trial, it's practically a rite of passage.

Yes, there is an Hellboy reading order chart floating around that got most of the Mignolaverse done. It's mostly publication order.
