I like him. He was smart for a kid his age, he used his powers creatively, the manhole cover hovering is iconic, and he treated the other DC heroes with respect rather than acting like a chucklefrick
he was kinda both smart and dumb. like he was infected with the ghetto disease, but he had a natural partial immunity from his hardworking real-human-being dad.
Everybody likes the Static. He has a heart of gold and he did a good job improvising superhero life with no guidance. Poor guy started out in a world where other superheroes weren't even real, at first, before reality shifted and absorbed him into the DCAU.
the show wasn't perfect, clearly lower budget, lower brow, meant for kids who are lower in height and IQ. But it was still fun and creative.
I was fricking sick of 'bang baby' the first fricking time I heard it, that is 'boomer' tier irritating. but on the other hand, when Omnifarious introduces himself and Static says "You're nefarious?" and he had to explain it's latin, and Static's like uh yeah I go to public school..
Yeah, his show started off pretty good at least. It gets rockier as it goes on because it doesn't feel like the producers have enough faith in the character and start leaning too hard on crossovers and cameos instead of further developing the characters and ideas that were original to the show, and much more interesting.
I like him. He always used his powers in creative ways, not just throwing lighting bolts at people. The shadow guy is really cool too.
I like him because he is charismatic and know the weight and responsibility of being a super hero
Literally Black Peter Parker
lol frick miles
Miles is Poochie, and someone needs to make a edit of Virgil and USM Peter beating his ass
His show was good
I didn't get to see much of the show, but I like what little I saw.
He's the "I'm not racist, I have black friends" of superhero characters
Damn

I think it's pretty telling how many people call him Static Shock. But no. You're thinking of Icon.

I grew with his show, I like it was a more down to earth hero dealing with stuff like local gangs that happen to be superpowerful.
i remember a part where gangs were tearing up the city and they played rap music over it. that was funny
i like him
I mean I don't really think about him much, but I enjoyed his show as a child.
>cartoon was good
>original comics were good
I like Static
Yeah, especially when he is eating my people’s traditional meal.
