It's already been suggested, but Time Bandits hits similar chords. Not as good as Munchausen, but not bad.
The movie Cabin Boy reminds me of this. There's breasts and sex and violence but there's also claymation of Donald Duck and Jack Skellington. It's a weird movie but is the same bizarre flavor

This movie steals a lot from Baron Prasil (1961) and Munchausen (1943). So much so that the vhs has a disclaimer that it is not the UFA film from 43. Really watch either of those and they do the same story much better. Lots of scenes are shot fro shot from the earlier movies.
