    >1970s
    >2 hours long

sounds like it would be really boring. if you have a dual screen setup you could play GTA 5 or Fortnite in the other tab while you watch it, if not you can just go on TikTok on your phone while you watch it, I usually do this if its a movie made before 2010

      Si. Top tier kino.
      Also this

      >Friedkin denied it was a remake
even though it says "based on wages of fear" in the end credits

Not her, but what Friedkin denied was that this was a remake of THE FILM Wages of Fear. But this is of course an adaptation of THE BOOK Wages of Fear.

Didn't people back then hate it and generally agreed that wages of fear was the better movie?
    Poster looks great though.

I think the main problem that stopped it from becoming big was the release of star wars around the same time. Also Friedkin for some reason denied that it was a remake of wages of fear even though it clearly is. Also can’t recommend the film enough one of the most atmospheric films I’ve ever seen

I mean it’s just probably Friedkin being gay about semantics. He adapted the book not the original film

Having seen the movie, I can think of one thing wrong with that title.

Yeah, it's great. Just be conscious that the prologue is pretty extensive and yes, you are watching the right movie.
