I liked the green arrow story well enough but how was it a good idea to "bring back the character" and have some time jumping series about his history and his entire family a good starting point?
Its like relaunching a new aquaman series and the first 5 issues are about him becoming a long haul trucker.
Me too. Used to get 40 floppys a month. Then I quit buying Superman cause of Bendis and by the time the pandemic hit I stopped buying comics altogether. Looked today and they're literally making whole events around gay commies.

LOL no. I was crazy as frick because of reading those shitty stories. I mellowed out now. I actually care about DC characters after dropping all those horrendous poorly written garbage. It’s a scummy fanfiction scam for writers who need resume points and want self insert. They get a legitimate writing job anyway where else so they come to DC and Marvel who dropped standards years ago. If you don’t want to tarnish your view of these characters and keep their mainstream branding of them don’t touch the comics. They’re corrupt and are collapsing, so the people in charge stopped carrying as they’re worth nothing.
I feel sorry for anyone who cares about “canon.” That’s a marketing gimmick to draw in nerds for their shitty comic scam. Yes DC/WB cares so much for a niche corner that doesn’t make them money or mere pennies compared to “The Batman” which has a 100 million dollar budget.

God I have a ton of catching up to do.
Flash has been good so far. The new Wonder Woman run is by King so if you have no history with Diana you'll like it. Waid's World's Finest is a perfectly fun harmless book with great character writing for Dick when he's in it. Adam's GL has been good. The Doom Patrol mini was also really good. It's not as great as rebirth but has been solid. Way better then where we were between 2020-2022.

anon. The Green Arrow book is so-so, nothing groundbreaking but not, like, Gay for Justice era bad. I’ve been enjoying Superman and Action Comics. If you want a Batman book stick to the Black Label shit, Gargoyle of Gotham is the best thing DC’s put out in years.
