my friends and I loved it, but when it came out we really hadn't partied crazy yet because we were still too young. I'd say millennial

the oldest zoomer at the time wouldve been like 13-14

The rich zoomers know how to get down, raves, cabin parties, bunker parties
They have a very secretive VIP approach to partying that's very 80s

Zoomer. It came out when older zoomers were in high school

Superbad is the quintessential late millennial movie

That's one of the early millennial classics
He's also wrong the quintessential late millennial movie is Twilight

Superbad came out in 2007, it was definitely for younger millennials. Older millennials would have had something from the 90s.

Superbad is good, but it’s not the ”bibble” movie of a generation like Project X is for late millenials.

Why are so many mid to late millennial named Ryan?

We had like 15 of them in my grad class. They all were known by their last names.

I'm from a predominantly Irish community so my Ryan is Sean, probably 50 Sean's spelled in a dozen different ways
That Heavy Rain meme is very funny for that reason to me

Isn't Ryan also an Irish name?

            Anonymous

Yes but not even nearly as many Ryan's as there were Dylan or Sean or Liam
Liam is also the essential bully name for Irish towns, sorry Oasis chads

    Reminder:

Millenials were born between 1981 and 1996
Zoomers were born between 1997 and 2012

      This

Superbad came out in 2007, it was definitely for younger millennials. Older millennials would have had something from the 90s.

Which establishes that most stuff from the 90s is Gen X

        Anonymous

No, the defining Gen X movie would be 80s stuff like Fast Times, the Breakfast Club, or Ferris Bueller.

So Superbad is zoomer and the very last millennials (who are zoomers under some definitions)

We’ve had this conversation a million times:

    >no online dating apps
    >no mumble rap
    >no social media apps
    >people going outside

    It’s millenial.

2007-2014 was the peak of human culture. The ecstatic party filled blow off top of white civilization before it ended in 2015.

      >before it ended in 2015
Revisionism. Everyone agrees that the world ended in 2012 like the Mayans predicted. The 2012-2013 school years was when iphones and social media took over everything.

It happens everywhere, all the time
Some thug picks a fight, someone gets badly hurt or killed
I was reminiscing with my parents the other day about how you used to see so many people outside walking around back in the day, now no one goes out, not even in the neighborhoods in the suburbs

They also didn't push some algorithm bullshit. I think the most advanced "tech" was that the people you got recommended the most were the ones with the most common friends between you.
While you had a blog section on your profile most people just wrote a short message in your guestbook or directly used chat. No endless pictures of garbage foods or anything.
Frick I miss that site, I got 3 of my ex-gfs that way, nothing really happened much since then..

The whole millennial/zoomer divide is arbitrary and makes no sense. Half of millennials didn't get a cell phone until high school or later, the other half were given one immediately after birth.

those 'jak variants didn't exist until like 2019, nor did the coomer, or tiktok. tumblr was arguably more popular in 2007-2015 than in 2016 and onwards. pepe was already popular before 2016. smartphones had already taken over the world before 2016. "same recycled wojak memes" like the same recycled rage comics in the prior period. this pic sucks
