Comedy is hard. That happens to everyone. I still remember Brad Neely and his second show after China, Il. He had completely run out of material even though China, Il already reused a ton of shit from his web stuff.
Yelling and swearing excessively in comedy are a sign of insecurity.
A joke or funny segment should work without those two things, or if they're used sparingly.
The newest seasons is the worst with all of that.

Not really. One or two funny bits per episode, and usually in spite of the actual joke. The whole "repeat the completely absurd joke over and over" shtick felt played out when the show started and using it as a crutch hasn't done him any favors.
