I don't think anyone who hunts down Don Bluth to learn how to animate like it's the 80s gives a shit about school credits. Do school credits even do anything in art? A lot of people from schools like Art Center drop out and get jobs before graduating.
Any art class thats "online" is a scam really. If you arent getting credits out of it then at the very least youd want to have a teacher who knows his shit on top of your ass throughout the whole thing and be there for you step by step as opposed to just doing your own thing and waiting for feedback like a week later through like a webcam. At that point you can just either look up youtube tutorials/ pirate classes cause its just gonna be you figuring out shit on your own anyway.

Not really. I've learned a lot online. :ow I've got a yearly subscription to Aaron Blaise's courses and although I'm not a fan of the other content (I don't know why he'd try to teach painting when he's not that strong of a painter) but the animal drawing courses alone make it worth it.
Vilppu is the least "scam" art teacher online. You learn a lot from this courses.
