I thought this movie was the original as a kid for the longest time, simply because the animation was better than the actual first. Like other anons said, it's more "fun" but retreads more of the same drama of Feivel's family thinking he's fricking dead and he gets into shenanigans.
Spielberg founded Amblimation in 1989. Since he was an important producer on the first An American Tail, he decided that Amblimation's debut movie would be an American Tail sequel made without Don Bluth's involvement.
After Katzenberg and Spielberg founded DreamWorks in the mid 90s, they turned Amblimation into the animation division of DreamWorks.
i frickin guess so man what else you got happening in your life
Yeah. The first one was a roller coaster of feels, this one is more adventurous fun.
The animation is great. It's an okay movie, but it doesn't feel like the greatest thing ever.
It's very fast paced and goofy, watch it just so you can find the frame with the penis
Did they ever find the culprit?
Amazing voice acting. Jon Lovtiz as the spider is great
Look at all the random shit on those building. AI slop.
Its especially obvious when you look at the 2nd tail below his first and whatever this is
ai didn't exist in '91
That's what the AIs want you to think.
I don't think that was the original cover.
Some of the other art looks little suspect too tho so idk.
Look at the ferry on the right and the buildings
Yeah

The American Dream towards Manifest Destiny
Watch it and form your own opinion. Are you working to a clock or something?
Honestly this, disconnect from the hivemind and take a gamble
>Fievel Goes West
>We're Back! A Dinosaur Story
>Balto

I have this visceral memory of the sister singing as she cleans and the whole color palette becoming more golden as she splashes something around
