Have not seen the OP movie but I'd say was Flesh for Frankenstein the best, amazing and weird and great ending. One of Udo Kier's best roles, along with Dracula.

Rock n Roll Frankenstein is the moronic stepchild of Flesh for Frankenstein

Judging from that pic it does not look even 0.001% as good. Flesh For F was over the top and freakish but took itself seriously, not 'campy look how bad this movie is haha'

I try not to judge moronic stepchildren.

Not Frankenstein, but Robocop is essentially a sci-fi version of the same tale. And it is one the best movies ever made.

It is a dogshit yankee action movie with the same tired old stereotypes you would find in a cowboy movie.

One of the dumbest take I have ever read on Cinemaphile. I sincerely hope this is bait.

Verhoeven did want to do the movie until his wife suggested he should treat it as a Frankenstein tale, and when he looked at it that way, he liked it. If you cannot see the similarities you are pretty moronic.

Hammer's Curse of Frankenstein was good, but have not seen it in ages. Young Frankenstein was goofy but really nailed the look.

    Also, maybe Re-Animator?

      >Hammer's Curse of Frankenstein was good
I've heard Revenge of Frank & Frank must be Destoryed are the best Hammer Frank films. (Evil & Horror are the worst)

The best is The Curse of Frankenstein with Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee, followed by Bride of Frankenstein

I need to sit down and watch this again sometime. Haven't seen it since it was last on NBC.
Reminder to watch the full two-nighter version. There's a shorter movie of the week cut.
