With the way things are going, it won't be.
What does that mean? A LOT of people had been waiting for and asking about new episodes all this time, and it's definitely gonna be one of Prime's best-performing shows once Season 2 starts. Invincible is the new hotness. People are bored with Rick and Morty now.
Based. Dupli-Kate is cute tho
Holy shit Debbie's granddaughter is pure sex, she looks just like her, but in her teens.
The girls are shit except for the milf.
I need a full 3-minute version of the theme song for my workout mix
Dude the decade barely started
>Over animated
>Too many focus on fight scenes
>Too much focus on the protagonist of the story
It's not that there is anything inherently bad about invincible it's just that toxic audiences will create toxic expectations from this
Cartoons aren't about fun anymore, cartoons are about representation for people who were historically denied so and for American born non Americans writers and animators to express their culturally rich life they enjoy by living in the same culturally rich city
Modern audiences care more about a diversity of body types and genders being on the screen not about having a straight man take the focus
Animators and writers have their own lives too and their budgets are limited, we can't afford 200 different voice actors for 200 different characters like the Looney toons had, we can't let invincible create the same unrealistic toxic standard that anime constantly delivers without struggling with budget or time
>Overanimated
Stopped reading, have a nice day now.
This. Wasn't there a whole controversial costume tweak that only happened because they were trying to cut corners?
>Over animated
They have scenes in the show where only the character's mouths are moving to save on budget... If anything it's under animated
>Over animated
Nah.
>Over animated
we found the homie who gets seizures watching spiderverse
>Over animated
>Too many focus on fight scenes
>Too much focus on the protagonist of the story
How are any of these bad?
go back to Cinemaphile

The Midnight Gospel

Tear Along The Dotted Line
>7/10 Animated Shows
Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy

Solar Opposites

>6/10 Animated Shows
Blood of Zeus
M.O.D.O.K.
C'mon anon, I like The Midnight Gospel but 9/10? You're out of your mind.
Blood of Zeus should be dropped to a 4. Beautiful animation, but the show is without a trace of distinction.
Remove 4 points from all of those and I agree.
As opposed to what? South Park I guess?
There's nothing else.
It will be if it gets the 10+ seasons it needs to tell the story.
yeah prolly
The duality of anon
lol no
It’s the most impactful piece of capeshit in recent memory, that’s for true.
This was never popular outside the internet.
How do you get a good reading on a show's popularity outside the internet? Even coworkers I'd cross paths with in the office brought up Invincible back when S1 was still fresh. This shit was watched by those who normally don't even bother with American cartoons. Its edgy superhero deconstruction and "anime" aesthetic give it broader appeal than most modern cartoons.
Because it's already forgotten and most people still don't know that it exists. A product of it's time that never had a chance at lasting.
>what is the current streaming age
It's becoming rarer and rarer to have a show premiering new episodes year-round. That's just where we're at right now. Networks are super stingy and will consider 8-10 episodes "one full season," made worse by said "season" getting shoved out the door all in one go.
We're lucky Invincible gets weekly releases, but the hiatuses between seasons WILL still prevent the show from staying relevant 24/7. Remember when Chainsaw Man was being spammed left and right? This is just all part of being a new TV series these days. You get your brief time in the spotlight before receding back into the shadows until the next batch of episodes.
With how fast viewers fall off after the first episode I'm not convinced that weekly releases is an advantage.
Has budgets changed a lot with the "standard seasons" getting shorter?
Seems to me like memes and/or quality is what helps you stay relevant in this climate.
It's a little to early to tell if it will change the industry the same way something like PPG or Adventure Time/Gravity Falls did. But however considering how many zoomers have latched onto it, there's a solid chance it may.
Either that or Arcane. I'd say Arcane was more impressive, animation-wise.
we are barely halfway through 2020s and invincible is just a slightly edgier young justice.
I don’t like it , but LoL’s Arcane is the contender so far
Surprisingly, not as woke as Young Justice got as of its 3rd and especially 4th season
>looks like shit
>butchered the original material
>takes a million years to come out
Yeah, the best fricking thing ever. kys
No, Bocchi The Rock is.
Invincible is just very well executed and has a lot of advantages like a real budget, pro tier voice talent and a plot that was written with a beginning, climax and ending in mind all along. Its miles better than any of Marvel or DC's animation and certainly the movies.
This is the WORST name for an original cartoon. What were they thinking??
They were trying to be clever like with "Bravest Warriors" but misunderstood why that one was funny in the first place.
redditors would treat it like the top masterpiece.
