Both of those statements are correct, but for the 2nd one, it's still baffling.
She was a child that came outta nowhere and was 100% evil for seemingly no reason, with no tragic backstory to work with or potential to form new bonds that could change her for the better, on a show that had become associated with silly villain redemptions based on those two factors before steven universe became the posterchild of it. Sombra back in S3 received backlash for being the exact same kind of unapologetic evil that cozy was called based for.
Then they build the season almost as if they were leading towards redemption on account of her and the other two villains being buttholes but still clearly capable of forming a positive bond even if over their common hatred, but play a tremendous bait and switch at the last second and just remove them. A show that preached "friendship and second chances" ends on a note of "not all friendships are equal and some people are just sociopaths".
It's not that there's anything wrong with a cynical message, it's that THAT show specifically would be the last one that should have the gall to have it as its final note.

Only thing Charlie has to do is smash the Overlords and instill some order into the place and now you literally can build another heaven there. This is something Charlie, or Lucifer can actually do, and yet they dont for some reason.

This is because Charlie doesnt know about Sera's fears about the invasion. Sera herself comments about how the decision to sanction the exterminations was very difficult, which seems to indicate that she is very open to stopping them. All Charlie has to do is convince her that she, with the help of her dad, who still holds some sway in heaven, can make hell harmless. Something they should be able to do.
All Charlie failed to convince the heaven jury was that souls in hell could be redeemed. Which is not what Sera is worried about at all.
I had whole thing written out but it was getting wordy and stupid, but I really don't think what Viv wanted us to take away from episode 6 was that hell is still the problem/Charlie's argument wasn't good enough. Especially in light of the rest of heaven not knowing about the exterminations, and that it was never about population control. I think it’s implying there is a heaven-hell conspiracy with Sera that Viv hasn’t yet revealed. I don’t know what’s with the outfit the Exorcist wear, but Viv implies that at least something about the masks they wear is suspicious in some livestream clip.
It’s possible that the joke Adam has about “meeting your manager” means Charlie will go from looking at the exorcist (the distraction) and at Sena in Season 2.

While everything I am saying is speculation because your point is well taken, on the face of it, it really does seem like the only reason for the exterminations is that Sera genuinely believes hell is a threat to heaven. In her conversations with Adam and Emily, Sera says that she would have never agreed to the exterminations if it would bring trouble to heaven, which implies that the only reason they are doing them is to keep hell is check. To Emily she says that hell was uprising, confirming the reason for the exterminations. So, the reason the exterminations happen is because hell is unruly and hell is unruly because the sinners suck and nobody enforces any order down there. To solve everything, all Charlie has to do is pacify hell and convince Sera that the situation will stay that way. The first, she should be able to do quite easily, especially since her dad backs her, the second should follow naturally since Sera is already reticent about the exterminations if they bring trouble, which they did. Of course, this all hinges on hell's unruliness being the only reason for the exterminations, which is the only reason that we know of for now.
NTSG2 has some singular frames on his channel, That pretty much just shows that Vaggie will grow her wings back / reveal that she grew her wings back at some point and uses that to help everyone fight Adam/Lute.

Doing promo work on the only project most of them are known for? Hell, the only one with any stand out talent is Kovachs, and he seems to be doing well enough for himself.
The main songwriter teased that it won't take another 3 years for s2 to come out. Which is to be expected since they've streamlined their process at this point for sure, but I'm personally still expecting 2 years at minimum unless I'm missing something.
1-year minimum. They're only now recording S2 because the strikes are finished, and I doubt this is the show where they do all the boarding and animation before voice acting.
Yeah for season 1 I heard from multiple sources (actors, staff), that the voice recording was done first and stuff only progressed after that. 1 year would be nice but it takes a while to have the finished animated project at hand plus the production values/attention to detail in Hazbin are much higher than something like Bojack Horseman which released 1 season a year. Either way they can't afford to wait so long between seasons again.

HB is gay Stolitz and Fizzarozzie shipping in between lame songs, which are more like short jingles at this point.
Hazbin doesn't have a "female focus" like she promised it would- it's all about the guys stealing the show, Heaven politics, and a new plot line every single ep.
HH is “female focused” by having Adam x Lute and “Sera, you corrupt politician”- Emily.
Charlie is there to drag the male gang of sinners (Alastor, Sir Pentious, Husk, and Angel Dust) to the adventure. There is likely far more of an arc for Lute than any of the female sinners, likely because she kneels before the wiener as girls were designed.
What I feel like not enough creators understand is that shipping is fun because it isn't the focus of whatever show/game/media
I love to ship when the chemistry is there but I fricking hate romance as a genre and I don't care too much for slice of life unless there's some action thrown in and an interesting story
When you give in to the shippers and make it the focus of the show it steals the original premise and makes the shipping less fun all at once

I already really liked Alastor and thus far he hasn't disappointed me despite the inevitable heel turn but it was really refreshing to have that feeling of going from, "he's cool" to scouring the Vox/Reader tag on AO3 and then going back to look at the deleted insta accounts
But hey we have the final confrontation this season between Alastor and Vox to look forward to at the end according to the leaker (who was proven right last week)
I feel like these characters to the fandom are what giving a box of toys is to a child

Yeah pretty much. The sheer edgy wackiness of everything, from the world building to the personalities to the designs to the jokes, is just so fun and indulgent, but the narrative itself might be too indulgent to Viv’s taste specifically. Plus everyone’s on a wildly different page with how much they know about the lore anyway, with some fans only having seen the show and others having been following Viv for years. Anyone who only watches the show likely doesn’t even know that sinners supposedly regenerate when they die in hell.

I'm too autistic to not go back and eat up all the info I can find but I don't have it in me to watch all the 2-5 hours streams where I am sure a lot of tidbits got left out of the wiki since wikigays always have some rainbow agenda
I think Viv could greatly benefit from having a lorekeeper and people around her to tell her no, but she's thrown those people away and I don't think anyone who doesn't already worship her would ever want to work with her
It's actually impressive how she has managed to piss off groups of people from all walks of life for a dozen separate reasons
Anyway I love the implication that Vox and Val were so important they had business meetings up in heaven
That said I like this current iteration of Vox and Val better with Vox having to wrangle him and being the one person Val will listen to

I think originally, Viv planned for Eve to be redeemed in the series finale of HH so she can rekindle with Adam in Heaven. But when she considered her worst scenarios, she made Adam and Lute (Pilot) to be the ‘emergency fallout on this show having one season and getting cancelled afterwards, since Vivziepop could at least establish Adam as the father of the sinners who had a similar threatening presence as Eve (which was tuned down heavily in the final product because Pilot was mad scary), who also has a similar possessed-by-evil as Eve that made him act far more villainous and merciless to his own sinner children. Since in this one season, she can at least rekindle the sinners relationship to their father.

A reminder that MLP refused to redeem its last three villains. One of them was a (extraordinarily evil) little girl that half of /mlp/ instantly wanted to frick and went apeshit when she wasn't redeemed.

I never understood what they were thinking, she was evil out of nowhere, more evil than every villain before her (even sombra kind of gained a tragic backstory retroactively through the comics), refused to elaborate and was then petrified for eternity together with racist old man and vengeful woman n°4.
They seemed to be building to a triple redemption finale then someone came at the last second and completely changed course while simultaneously destroying what little good will discord's character has left.
what i loved about it was it was that she was only Do Not Redeemed out of criticisms of redemption being a crutch for other season villains
it's crazy. they create purple smart's top student who learned under her direct tutelage and saw friendship beyond the scope of what was taught at the school, eventually straying from the path of friendship once she came into contact with an unknown solicitor. it sucks because, of all the characters, cozy was the absolute perfect candidate for a redeemed ex-villain, rather than other choices previously made.
Cozy was the ultimate threat to Friendship as a cosmic force. She was the first horse to see it for what it was - an aggressive and invasive took to leverage enemies into allies and control them (see almost literally anyone who tasted the rainbow).
She saw behind the curtain and could not be permitted to live in the brave new world Cosmic Friendship was bringing forth.
I mean it was even portrayed as an uncanny body snatcher parading itself as bookhorse.

She was a child that came outta nowhere and was 100% evil for seemingly no reason, with no tragic backstory to work with or potential to form new bonds that could change her for the better, on a show that had become associated with silly villain redemptions based on those two factors before steven universe became the posterchild of it. Sombra back in S3 received backlash for being the exact same kind of unapologetic evil that cozy was called based for.
Then they build the season almost as if they were leading towards redemption on account of her and the other two villains being buttholes but still clearly capable of forming a positive bond even if over their common hatred, but play a tremendous bait and switch at the last second and just remove them. A show that preached "friendship and second chances" ends on a note of "not all friendships are equal and some people are just sociopaths".
It's not that there's anything wrong with a cynical message, it's that THAT show specifically would be the last one that should have the gall to have it as its final note.
Sombra received backlash for having less minutes of screentime than the GAK commercials airing during the episode.
Cozy was clearly a more inspired villain, meant to be manipulative and only seeing friendship as a tool to get benefits for herself.

Gen 5 had a very, very good ending if you see it for what it was. Friendship - a wild magic spawned from the union of a cosmic force and an arcane ritual - took control of a few key people in order to gain rulership of the most powerful state in the world. Then, after establishing itself so thoroughly that there was no removing it, it started branching out into nearby states to the extent that its new avatars were almost exclusively foreign. The ending? It has its true host actively murder threats to its dominion with the avatars of natural Harmony and the embodiment of Discord both sanctioning the action and supporting its host.
It's the perfect BAD END

The biggest issue with the show is that its supposed to be about saving people from hell but there doesnt seem to be a reason why people should be saved from hell. Sinners dont suffer any actual punishment for just being in hell. The only hellish part about it comes from the actual sinners being shit to each other. Only thing Charlie has to do is smash the Overlords and instill some order into the place and now you literally can build another heaven there. This is something Charlie, or Lucifer can actually do, and yet they dont for some reason.

Sera herself comments about how the decision to sanction the exterminations was very difficult, which seems to indicate that she is very open to stopping them. All Charlie failed to convince the heaven jury was that souls in hell could be redeemed. Which is not what Sera is worried about at all.

Especially in light of the rest of heaven not knowing about the exterminations, and that it was never about population control. I think it’s implying there is a heaven-hell conspiracy with Sera that Viv hasn’t yet revealed. I don’t know what’s with the outfit the Exorcist wear, but Viv implies that at least something about the masks they wear is suspicious in some livestream clip.
It’s possible that the joke Adam has about “meeting your manager” means Charlie will go from looking at the exorcist (the distraction) and at Sena in Season 2.

While everything I am saying is speculation because your point is well taken, on the face of it, it really does seem like the only reason for the exterminations is that Sera genuinely believes hell is a threat to heaven. In her conversations with Adam and Emily, Sera says that she would have never agreed to the exterminations if it would bring trouble to heaven, which implies that the only reason they are doing them is to keep hell is check. To Emily she says that hell was uprising, confirming the reason for the exterminations. So, the reason the exterminations happen is because hell is unruly and hell is unruly because the sinners suck and nobody enforces any order down there. To solve everything, all Charlie has to do is pacify hell and convince Sera that the situation will stay that way. The first, she should be able to do quite easily, especially since her dad backs her, the second should follow naturally since Sera is already reticent about the exterminations if they bring trouble, which they did. Of course, this all hinges on hell's unruliness being the only reason for the exterminations, which is the only reason that we know of for now.

The main songwriter teased that it won't take another 3 years for s2 to come out. Which is to be expected since they've streamlined their process at this point for sure, but I'm personally still expecting 2 years at minimum unless I'm missing something.
1-year minimum. They're only now recording S2 because the strikes are finished, and I doubt this is the show where they do all the boarding and animation before voice acting.
Yeah for season 1 I heard from multiple sources (actors, staff), that the voice recording was done first and stuff only progressed after that. 1 year would be nice but it takes a while to have the finished animated project at hand plus the production values/attention to detail in Hazbin are much higher than something like Bojack Horseman which released 1 season a year. Either way they can't afford to wait so long between seasons again.

Something people forget about MLP is just how weird it was that grown-ass men would unironically come out and say they loved a show like it. Seeing the MLP fandom come into being was literally seeing a cartoon trope come to life.
This was also unironically how it grew. Horse show took off, not because of the quality of the show, but the quality of the show juxtaposed to it's expected quality.
It caused a word of mouth effect where pretty much everyone who watched it went in wanting to see what all the fuss was about and expecting it to be shit when they did

It would have been had it not been for the adult content/language. It could have been the new Regular Show at the least. A cultural hit for all audiences. Because they have two different premises and stories:
Hazbin Hotel is Viv's baby about the Princess of Hell redeeming Sinners to escape exterminations. The whole process to get it up and running exactly how she wants has taken years though.
Helluva Boss is the spinoff "workplace comedy" show -- set in the same universe -- about a company that's hired by Sinners to kill people in the living realm. It's on YouTube and has changed direction to be about the gay romance and characters fricking up.
Funny that both betrayed their initial premise.
HB is gay Stolitz and Fizzarozzie shipping in between lame songs, which are more like short jingles at this point.
Hazbin doesn't have a "female focus" like she promised it would- it's all about the guys stealing the show, Heaven politics, and a new plot line every single ep.
HH is “female focused” by having Adam x Lute and “Sera, you corrupt politician”- Emily.
Charlie is there to drag the male gang of sinners (Alastor, Sir Pentious, Husk, and Angel Dust) to the adventure. There is likely far more of an arc for Lute than any of the female sinners, likely because she kneels before the wiener as girls were designed.
What I feel like not enough creators understand is that shipping is fun because it isn't the focus of whatever show/game/media
I love to ship when the chemistry is there but I fricking hate romance as a genre and I don't care too much for slice of life unless there's some action thrown in and an interesting story
When you give in to the shippers and make it the focus of the show it steals the original premise and makes the shipping less fun all at once

I didn't keep up with the production I just watched the pilot years ago and came back
I already really liked Alastor and thus far he hasn't disappointed me despite the inevitable heel turn but it was really refreshing to have that feeling of going from, "he's cool" to scouring the Vox/Reader tag on AO3 and then going back to look at the deleted insta accounts
But hey we have the final confrontation this season between Alastor and Vox to look forward to at the end according to the leaker (who was proven right last week)

Yeah pretty much. The sheer edgy wackiness of everything, from the world building to the personalities to the designs to the jokes, is just so fun and indulgent, but the narrative itself might be too indulgent to Viv’s taste specifically. Plus everyone’s on a wildly different page with how much they know about the lore anyway, with some fans only having seen the show and others having been following Viv for years. Anyone who only watches the show likely doesn’t even know that sinners supposedly regenerate when they die in hell.
I'm too autistic to not go back and eat up all the info I can find but I don't have it in me to watch all the 2-5 hours streams where I am sure a lot of tidbits got left out of the wiki since wikigays always have some rainbow agenda
I think Viv could greatly benefit from having a lorekeeper and people around her to tell her no, but she's thrown those people away and I don't think anyone who doesn't already worship her would ever want to work with her
It's actually impressive how she has managed to piss off groups of people from all walks of life for a dozen separate reasons
Anyway I love the implication that Vox and Val were so important they had business meetings up in heaven
That said I like this current iteration of Vox and Val better with Vox having to wrangle him and being the one person Val will listen to

I thought the original pilot showed a lot of promise.
It was horribly paced and badly edited, but it was unique and I thought if the actual series got cleaned up a lot more it could turn out to be pretty solid.
But after watching 3 episodes I'm really struggling to keep going. First of all, way too much lore dumping and not enough actual focus on the hotel itself, which was the point. Secondly, there's too many songs. They should either just go full musical or seriously cut back on them. Does anyone actually watch for the songs? If I were to bet on it, people would say the only song they really liked from the pilot was the short Alaster reprise and that's because he kind of makes it work with his whole radio music gimmic and powers. But go ahead and tell me y

I think originally, Viv planned for Eve to be redeemed in the series finale of HH so she can rekindle with Adam in Heaven. But when she considered her worst scenarios, she made Adam and Lute (Pilot) to be the ‘emergency fallout on this show having one season and getting cancelled afterwards, since Vivziepop could at least establish Adam as the father of the sinners who had a similar threatening presence as Eve (which was tuned down heavily in the final product because Pilot was mad scary), who also has a similar possessed-by-evil as Eve that made him act far more villainous and merciless to his own sinner children. Since in this one season, she can at least rekindle the sinners relationship to their father.
