The entire plot revolves around strange and wanda from beginnig to end. One sequence on the illuminati earth doesnt mean the rest of the film isnt about strange and friends
>multiverse of madness >barely any madness
This film was kind of meh. Definitely did not have soul but that said I can't remember the last marvel movie that had any, maybe the earlier ones.
This movie is very much the victim of what people expected of it.
Marvel fans are pissy because >Raimi takes a beloved character and turns them into a completely unsympathetic and irredeemable villain. >The cameos show up just to be unlikeable and job immediately >Both post-credits sequences are "Frick you" to the fans sequences.
Marvel detractors hate it because
>Raimi is "horror guy" and there's only hard horrory stuff in the last 20-30 minutes >It's not Spider-Man >It HAS cameos and tie-ins to other things period. In short: It's still an MCU movie.
I went in expecting Raimi to be a guest director but hoping he'd still have enough to wiggle room to make a simply fun summer blockbuster and he did it. He's clearly collecting a check with this and it still easily mogs most of the rest of the MCU and their factory made shitfests.
Characters aren't undercutting scenes of drama/emotion with pithy and ironic jokes. There's actual artistry with how the movie is told visually (the camera work and artistry behind it). It's unafraid to be goofy and sincere. And it's perhaps MORE comic booky than any previous Marvel movie. I enjoyed it.

This shit is literally the epitome of soulless.
Mcu spidey feels like it was made in a factory. Vs a raimi film its extra soulless
>multiverse mandated movie
>soul
>ever
>make multiverse movie
>instead of spamming cameos, add 80s horror elements and gory scenes that piss off concerned parents
>instead of spamming cameos
did you watch another movie?
There was literally one cameo

how many of these movies have they made in the past decade, must be closing in on 50
Raimi hasn't really made a single movie in the past decade
jesus christ raimi
that wasnt the question
>there has to be 50 Raimi movies made in the past decade right?
>he hasn't made any until now actually
has to be 50 Raimi movies made in the past decade right?

Imagine getting filtered this hard by Raimikino

Did Raimi really need to shove a camera on Rachel Mcadams face?
this scene was so kingo, it is straight out of drag me to hell
That movie is completely soulless, even if you believe every other Marvel movie is soulless that one surpasses all others in that department.
DCucks are in shambles once again I see
>that scene where dr strange goes to the family guy dimension and gets into a chicken fight
PURE SOVL
hey arent you the scat fetishist dog rapist from /trash/?
Mcugays talking about soul is the funniest shit, especially phase 4.
>capeshit #1374 with some added PG13 gore
OMG SOUL
I thought it was one of the worst ones.
>MUH IMAGINARY KIDS!
Frick off.
Iron Man 1 had a lot of soul. But then again, it was pre-Disney, so that goes without saying. lol
No, Iron Man had soul too. Its just those 2 movies.
