I've seen comparisons and I don't understand your point. It isn't as bright and overly saturated as the Paramount+ version but that's a good thing. It uses the old HD iTunes release as a source and looks better. The only bad thing about the release is Turtles Forever. It isn't the uncut edition or the TV edit. It's the syndicated 3 parter edit stitched together. And theres a ton of ghosting for Turtlea Forever too. Its a very bad way to watch it but Turtles Forever had a dvd release of the other two versions so it's not too bad. You can just grab those to go with the rest of the series.
You’re not even using the correct terms. The dvd release is the more saturated of the two. The paramount is lighter because it’s less saturated, likely due to being processed at a thinner transparency
Then you’re moronic, the paramount plus has much more texture visible in the light. Anons shitty screen cap is probably what you’re noticing
I'd argue the opposite. It looks much better than the paramount release.
it looks like complete shit
Forget about that, i wanna ask, have they censored the picture quality during fast motion/flashy light scenes with either frame rate dropouts or ghostling blending effect, or picture darkening like Disney+ does with all their old shows on their platform? i FRICKING HATE THOSE
This is what happens when you dont embrace Standard Definition Bluray format, which for some stupidass reason, only Discotek does for Anime and Toku shit.
There was that release of Bobobo which had Japanese audio but you had to physically print out the subtitles off of the licensor's website from a PDF file.
I remember the Regular Show season 3 DVD looking pretty bad which was unfortunate since they stopped giving them Blurays at that season and no further ones were even given DVDs outside of Australia.
Explain why.

you call that over saturated?
The darker DVD release is literally the more saturated of the two.

As far as I know they have not.
If that's your only example, then the top is better.
The top looks awful there.

Looks about the same, the show was early digital animation in SD so it never gonna look amazing.
Ed, Edd, n Eddy collection doesn't have the specials or the movie.
They bamboozled me with that one.
>The "Complete" Collection
>Doesn't have the Shake Like Me episode
I just swapped out my original volume 6 disc. Problem solved

The recent fleischer Superman blu ray is AWFUL
Thankfully those are public domain and a fan restored them.
nick employees working overtime huh?
Safe to say we will never get a proper HD remaster of this
