I gave up after like a season, I didn't like the changes they made from the movie and the direction they were taking it
frame 1 they gender-swapped Brad Pitt's character btw
It's a Sci Fi show... So no.
And if you need further explanation, it's a low budget sci fi show loosely adapted from a low budget movie. You will get nothing but disappointment from this.
It's honestly a great show
The time travel is pretty consistent and the characters are really well-developed.
Time travel show are easy to frick up, and as far as they go, this one is pretty damn good. Don't you, forget about me...
honestly I dropped it after season one was gonna go into the second but I lost interest and felt that it was gonna be the same thing from the first season
Id recommend. They take the premise of the movie but expand on it in interesting ways ultimately taking it in new directions. So its not really an adaption of the movie but its own thing with the same set-up. Good cast too.
It was one of the first instances of taking an already written, completely unrelated show and plastering a famous IP over it for marketing appeal. Not sure why you'd want to watch something 12 monkeys related not directed by Gilliam.
> top of the arch is missing > rest of arch is fine > even the cable is fine despite not being supported by anything
shit like this really grinds my gears
Yeah it's pretty good if you need something to watch. Only the very beginning has anything similar to the original movie then it becomes it's own thing.
It's mostly like a post-apocalyptic show with character drama but there's some time travel to different eras later on which is nice. And of course since it's time travel there's always some new twist/reveal they come up with, so it's decently interesting
when the FRICK did they make a 12 fricking monkeys tv show?????
wait until you hear about the Minority Report show
You're joking right?
I wish I was
where did this even air? I've never heard of it
>Minority Report
>They actually cast a minority
Ha. I watched this and completely memory holed it.
2015–2018 apparently

Yeah but she was hot. You were still allowed to do that then.
The movie is worth watching OP
Sent form my ifone
Both main characters are white?
If they made the show 1 year later, that wouldn't be the case
but the show is called 12 monkeys?
I watched the whole series, the show is worth it especially the last season.
expand on that, what makes it worth it

Sci-Fi/Syfy has made good shows in the past. Battlestar Galactic, The Expanse, Resident Alien, Stargate series, Krypton, The Magicians
Frick no.

Each season has a pretty unique feel to it, they don't really retread plot lines much, it develops pretty well.
I see I did like some of the characters not sure if I wanna go back to it though maybe later

The first two season are kind of a slog to get through, but seasons three and four are great.
