My favorite moronic Butch moment will always be when he became a born-again Christcuck halfway through the shows run and tried to retcon everything by saying the ghosts were aliens and not actually dead people even though multiple ghosts at that point had established backstories from when they were alive.
It became so evident during the later seasons when the ghosts stopped looking like average human beings and they started making moronic shit like a ghost plant or ghost weather.
Hartman converted before Fairly Odd Parents was conceived. Danny Phantom only ran for three seasons.
The frick is with Hollywood just pimping out the exact same small ring of actors for everything no matter how poorly they match the character?

Now that I think about it it’s pretty bizarre they haven’t attempted a live action Danny Phantom yet. It would be much easier and more natural than their 8th attempt at a SpongeBob, Avatar, or Fairly Oddparents live adaptation. Grab some modern teenage kids, place them in a modern high school setting, and bam, you have a show.
The ghosts weren’t elaborate either, just generic career people like a lunch lady, warehouse worker, pop singer, pretty easy to cast and make a series out of. Special effects would literally just be having them glow and shoot green lasers out of their eyes.
