he still blames the suit for his batman antics
Have you seen recent interviews? He constantly mocks Bales Batman voice... you lost the role Val. Grow up.
I don't even remember Val's Batman portrayal. I remember Clooney's shitty performance but not Val's
He didn't actually get much to do in that film. He had to share the hero spotlet with O'Donnel and the villains Jim Carrey and Tommy Lee Jones were just hamming it up to the max overshadowing everything else in the film.
Did he wear the nipple Batsuit or was that Clooney?
hmmm
I think they both did
Don't forget Alicia Silverstone parading around like a little bawd
That was in Clooney's film but Nicole Kidman was in Forever and even Drew Barrymore had a bit part as one of Two Face's henchwomen.
All looks the same to me
Don't know, I haven't watched it.
:/
I liked it. The doc does a good job at showing more of Val's career with behind the scenes footage. It made seeing him in Top Gun Maverick much more emotional to me.
This is accurate. It was a good doc, and full of bitter irony. He didn't address the pussy eating question, though.
>He didn't address the pussy eating question, though.
Doesn't have to
Wasn't he a smoker?
I appreciate them showing the scene where he’s at a fan convention and stays there too long so he’s visibly sick and asks them to turn the camera off.
I don’t appreciate Val Kilmer glossing over his atttitude on the set of Dr. Moreau though. Divorce or not, Richard Stanley deserved better
I was at a con in London where they were filming and he was wheeled out with a towel over his head for part of the day. I assume that’s what made it into this. It was upsetting to see
Spot on. I was genuinely surprised at Val’s vulnerability so it the only part of the documentary that stuck with me. That and when he talks about how he felt claustrophobic and couldn’t hear shit in his Batman costume.
It made him looked like he was constantly getting teased or bullied by other cast when he was in that suit. No wonder he quit
Can't really blame him for taking the role without reading the script because who doesn't want to be Batman
So that's where that was?
It was sad just seeing puking his guts out in the middle of the con
Any other actors that was video blogging even before it was a thing?
>much more emotional to me.
You got played like a fiddle my friend.
Do you think Tom Cruise experiences emotions like most normal people do?
Yes. He's like me where we pay school administration to rent several children
We write our most challenging emotions on their foreheads and resist the urge to beat them to death
Or try. We try very hard
Like everyone does on this plane
Makes sense
This
I'm afraid I can't empathize with someone that good looking, so I'll be skipping it
Well, not so much anymore
No King rules forever.
It’s the opposite. He’s accepted his fate and laughs it off.
>Him and Sorscha from Willow are still close and do family shit with the kids all the time
That's all I need to know about him as a person. He may be a weirdo actor guy, but he's at least a good human being.
He was amazing in kiss kiss Bang Bang why did his career not revive like downeys
Downey’s didn’t revive properly until Iron Man (though he did good stuff like Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and Zodiac, they underperformed). Val got fat for Alexander and took a long time to lose it, and didn’t get a big showy comeback role like Downey did, then of course he got sick.
>why did his career not revive like downeys
Gee, maybe it was the cancer, ya think? You might as well ask why didn't rdjr get cancer like val, that's how fricking stupid you are
the dude can't talk
Didn't he act like a total douche on set?
He's got a couple of great movies that were glossed over and a couple of stinkers. But he can carry a movie and is also good in supporting roles. He always brings something special to the table. Can't help but think he could have had a bigger career. If I come across a movie that stars Val Kilmer, I'll always give it a watch, just because he's in it.
Watch him being a prima donna c**t in that documentary about the autist director trying to make The Island of Dr. Moreau instead. I think it's called Lost Souls.
Eh
Tom Sizemore (RIP) threw a weight bar at him in his trailer when they were making Red Planet. Pretty based.
I didn't like it. It showed him as a homosexual theater kid, which he is. I prefer to just watch him in his roles.
