Isn't it weird how the sequels have literally no memes aside from the ones specifically mocking the movies themselves? How did they make so much money and yet have no impact on popular culture?

she smokes
She was absolutely breathtaking in Leon the professional. Truly beautiful.
You're a nonce freak
That word has no power here
Buff kylo ren
The spintrooper
"Sigh... somehow."
But other than that, they are pretty much just tumblr-teir basedboys going OMG STAH WAHS LOOK AT THIS GIF OF SOME LAME SHIT
TR-8R was a pleasant short lived meme
Droidy cars
The OT doesn't have that many memes either. Memes are a millennial kinda thing, zoomies might create some in a decade using nostalgia but only time will tell.
>the OT doesn't have that many memes either
>AI upscaled
that's just creepy
THEY FLY NOW was probably the biggest meme and even then that shit's only a meme because of how stupid and unfunny it is.
its not weird. The sequels were straight up bad, so why would people make memes. The prequels weren't great in some ways but they at least had charm and some things going for them.
>How did they make so much money
They didn't. TFA made money when people thought the new trilogy was going to be good and didn't know the disaster coming. Then by the time of TROS the audience had given up. The films didn't make anywhere near what they wanted especially when they had to make up the billions just to buy and market it. Their embarassing failure is why it's been put on hold so long
>Isn't it weird how the sequels have literally no memes aside from the ones specifically mocking the movies themselves?
What prequel memes are there that aren't mocking the prequels?
>What prequel memes are there that aren't mocking the prequels?
All of them. They've flipped to being unironic fun.
No.
It's done out of love.
>DO NOT WAAAAAAAAANT
Memes are over
we made em all in like 2003-2017 and have just been rehashing them since then
we are post-meme now
>THEY POST-MEME NOW
Use the forced memes.
>How did they make so much money and yet have no impact on popular culture?
Is this a Star Wars thread or an Avatar thread?
The last one didn’t they didn’t even release the numbers and they went immediately to streaming services after it
>muh impact on da culture
frick off homosexual
they made money because lots of people watched them
the sequels don't need any memes. most movies don't need any memes.
The prequel memes are mocking the prequels. What prequel memes don't mock the movies?
In reality it's because Star Wars itself was never really that popular because it's always been seen as really lame and cringe. You're overestimating the popularity of Star Wars because of nostalgia.
Name a single movie franchise more popular than Star Wars
First example that came to mind is Sheevposting
What makes you say that? Episode 1 was a huge deal when it came out
>no impact except for the impact
They were soulless bad instead of soulfull bad like the prequels
Memes require relatable emotional responses, OP.
there are millions of people who will watch anything with a "starwars" logo
The dumb moments in the prequels are funny and endearing the dumb moments in the Disney Star Wars movies are just exhausting and depressing
