>super intelligent scientists >moronic when it comes to basic social skills
what did they mean by this?
It all went to shit when suddenly the show became full of love interests and "moral lessons" when it comes to relationship
>man goes and do X >woman wants Y >man does X and crash and burn >woman reafirm her moral superior intelectual about Y and not X >man does Y and happy life - happy wife >audiencelaughs.mp3 >roll credits
>episode where they play Halo 3 >one of them yells for a medpack >there are no medpacks in Halo 3 >mfw all the normalgays who now pretend they were always into gaming and other nerd shit
Actual ‘nerds’ and ‘geeks’ take offence at the show’s portrayal of their subculture and because they dominate internet forums and spend all their time online they’ve managed to shift popular perception of the show. It’s all very subversive.
I'm in a part of IT that involves a lot of middle-aged guys standing around pondering equations on a white board, most of us genuine nerd boomers enjoyed the show. The biggest complaints about the first couple seasons were the science writing being absolute bullshit but then they hired advisors for the show which was smart.
but the show is actually an accurate representation of 'those' people who i have dubbed as 'reddit people'
There were no transexual pedos on the show so I'm not sure it was very 'reddit' at all.
It was ok. Kinda like Friends. Not written extremely well or terrific actors, but enjoyable. It went to complete shit when they pushed Amy Farrah Fowler on Shelden. Goddamn she sucked in every scene she was in
For me it's when they gave Bernie that horrible screechy voice and made her a complete b***h.

The early seasons are not bad, I just have a kneejerk reaction to hate the show due to all the >hey anon these guys are just like you and your friends lol
comments i got, THANKS MOM

Leomard chasing Penny was the only thing that made the show interesting.
Yuck. Their on/off relationship and it's added drama were the worst parts of the show.
And Howard being an hilarious horndog until he got pussywhipped by an unfunny shrew with a high-pitch voice.
The first three seasons were good
no the first 5 were good

Halo was always a normie FPS.
>normie
Found the normalgay pretending to have always been into nerd culture
based gayman ending the careers of those leeches by stopping it on time
unironically peak comfy show idk why it gets sp much hate

i'll add:
sheldon is a meta-reddit character
he's actually a Cinemaphile poster hanging out with redditors
that's the entire thesis of the show
hmm

The laugh track ruins the show. And no I don't mean it's better if you just remove it and have awkward pauses.
Wasnt it filmed before a live audience?
If anything live audiences are worse.
There is not a single good show with a laugh track
not a single good show
Fresh Prince, married with children, Frasier, that 70s show, different strokes etc etc
>Fresh Prince
this aged poorly
How?
For me it's when they gave Bernie that horrible screechy voice and made her a complete b***h.
Kaley Cuoco was my sexual awakening
it was until they introduced more women and the indian guy talking to them

See
the show is what made people love you and actually understand you more instead of seeing you as "some nerd or whatever"
Thanks for the dose doc
He should have played Oppenheimer.
He literally wears a shirt with a huge Reddit logo in the middle from time to time
Meant for
Sheldon was actually the Archie Bunker of our generation
Someone the ~~*media*~~ wanted you to hate but was actually right about everything
>but was actually right about everything
Sheldon was right about a lot of things
Reminder that Sheldon basically invented the idea of calling someone a soiboi.
Live action Rick and Morty
