It had serious issues, but there are some stuff I liked.

    >Thor's classic look is back
    >Valkyrie's tight arms looked delicious
    >Blonde Herschlag is best Herschlag
    >Everything about Christian Bale's character
    >Actually having the balls to kill off Herschlag
    >Russell Crowe as Zeus
    >The entire segment in city of the the gods
    >The entire segment in the black and white world
    >I thought the screaming goats were funny. Sue me

Yeah? She literally went to Valhalla in the post-credits scene.

Can't she just leave Valhalla? Doesn't sound dead to me.

Valhalla is Asgardian Heaven. She ded.

At best she can appear as a Force Ghost to give Thor a peptalk.

It's not death, that's why it's called an afterlife. Valhalla can still interact with other realms because garbage like comic books and shōnen have no limitations or consequences. Affirming the existence of an ambiguous afterlife for Gods to revel in eternal pleasure is pretty ironic considering that same exact concept and the arrogance that stems from it is what caused Gorr's "rampage" in the prologue.
Movie is a piece of shit and the script was written in a weekend.

I saw it twice and loved it.

Please tell me you have some sort of diagnosis or that you are from reddit. I’m very lenient with superhero movies and I honestly think this was the single worst one. I never want to see it again.

It was all the quipy bullshit that dragged it down. On its own its an okay movie, but it needed to be treated more seriously. You've got a guy going around killing gods and kidnapping an entire towns worth of children and they fricking around making jokes about being naked and jealous weapons

Treat the threat with respect it deserves and stop making everything a goddamn joke

This. I don't mind a few jokes. I think a Marvel needs to have a bit of humor in it. But there was way too much of it in this. Too many quips and too frequent, appearing at the wrong times, such as Thor quipping about cancer. It was almost a full blown comedy. They keep turning Thor into some dumb, blonde brute.

Its sad when the latest Guardians of the Galaxy, the team of frickups and morons, is more serious than the latest Thor movie

I love any movie with Neta-Lee

The parts centered around her are mostly good and have some emotional weight, but they clash horribly with the goofy humor and trying to make you laugh at screaming goats over and over.
A plot about Jane Foster dying of cancer should have been tackled in a "relatively serious" Thor movie, something that was already set up well enough after his Endgame PTSD, rather than doubling and tripling down on the comedy at the same time

At least hulk level strength and very wildly inconsistent power scaling depending on the team up movie they're in

There are actual godlike beings that are generally in the background doing actual god shit. Then there are the nearly immortal, hard to kill people running around who call themselves gods. Most are the later type. Just super powerful people who regular people mistake as an actual god because of how strong and long lived they are

Basically Marvel gods are mostly Stargate Goauld types who just take the adulation from "lesser" races and roll with it

This is a perfect example of how normie morons think and why everything is shit now. People with no clue about movies who probably aren't even conscious in any meaningful way (ie npc's), who judge a movie with arbitrarily checklists.

Jesus christ imagine defending this movie that was probably written in a weekend and has the goat screaming meme from 2013 copy pasted in it, then thinking others are the normies and npcs
