i was 11 when i first watched this episode, and yes, it made me feel some type of way and im trans now. not that The Dress is the only episode to impact me in this way when OPERATION F.U.T.U.R.E. and Carpe Diem exist. but yah, blame the toons.
Seriously? Pete sake when I first saw that episode I just laugh at the absurdity of Gumball trying to get popular in school by acting like a foreign transfer student. And the one thing that episode made you feel was being trans?
well it wasn't like my awakening or anything, i dressed as a princess playing dress-up at my friends house several times when i was 5. but i was also in middle school, schemey, small/weak, and talked to everyone but wasn't popular like gumball at the time so this and the cheerleading episode were two of my favs and easily self-insertable
>Gumball and Richard are trannies
Do actual homosexuals not realize the show is making fun of them and not supporting them at all? Tawog is a show that does not have a bias agende towards politics and such, it makes fun of the left and right and the show doesn't hold back to how both of them suck
all cartoons should be comical and colorful. i never really got anything political out of gumball but i get that the joke is a boy acting as a girl, i just don't care because i still find it enjoyable
Pls, don't tell me your one of those gays that think the early seasons are good and the rest are bad. Alot of people are fed up with them considering most of them are clipwatchers
to be fair i feel that way about pretty much every show i like, except for spongebob cause i have more nostalgia for seasons 4-6. i do not think all of the newer episodes of gumball are bad like that the news one was pretty funny and yes, i do watch the whole episode at a time and not just clips, because i grew up watching full episodes of toons on tv so its what i like.
Based Anaisbro, while I don't look at nostalgia as a factor of the show's quality I'm still happy your not bias at least and also grew up with show when it first aired.

Some late eps of Gumball are more on the serious or emotional tone eps like the heart, the choices, the parents, the possession, and the master are good eamples while others are the average Gumball ep you could expect.
Hope that helps

oh, yeah i usually dont like when it gets too serious like the later seasons of adventure time and svtfoe, even if i love the early seasons , but sometimes it can still be good

true but I think how Gumball does it its mostly straight to the point their's no deeper meaning behind it.
It just tells you right away whats the lesson or the meaning without trying to sound smart or long pauses of the characters not saying anything lol
when i have more money, i'll totes get more cosplays. but i am broke af rn. all i have for cosplays rn are star butterfly, and kyoko kirigiri but i think i lost that one.
Yeah gumball wearing a dress was a trans allegory, and him and Darwin trying to get anais to wear a diaper in the second episode was trying to get people to develop a fetish
What are the point of these videos? I keep seeing them pop up every once in a while and it’s always a leftist trying to analyze something made for children to make it seem deeper than it is.
>Media has consistently gotten more political over time >people's engagement with media has gotten more political over time >People's awareness of the political messaging in media has gotten more awareness over time >there has been a greater push for even more political media
You can stick your head in the sand all you want, but political baiting will continue so long as the media continues to engage in heavy political discourse
I find it fricking annoying how every topic on anything nowadays is political bait. But I'm also not ignorant that it is largely due to heightened political discourse on all sides regardless. It's stupid to think political baiting will go away when people act as if "everything is political" and you're starting to see the fruits of that from all sides.
NTA but Jesus, you buttholes are obnoxious about this shit. If I wanted politics, I can turn on the TV or do what b***h ass OP did scrounge around YouTube. But no, it has everyone else's problem when you bring the discourse here.

Can this b***h get exposed as a fricking pedophile rapist or something already, I'm sick and tired of seeing her videos in my recommendeds every other goddamn day just because I like to watch movie reviews

Gumbros, our response?
glad we're not delusional enough to pretend jokes suddenly mean our mental illnesses are valid

Go frick yourself, this isn’t your personal ad space.
I get recommendations from videos that have less than 200 views all the time, OP could've just found this from his recommended section.
2 Points:
1. You are OP
2. Shut the frick up
Stop shilling your moronic videos
also this b***h needs to learn to have pacing that isn't super fricking slow.

You have to be 18 or older to post on Cinemaphile.
then he is old 23 years old now
i am 24 now, but yes, i do not understand where all the time went or how or why i'm an adult now, it sux pretty hardcore
even so i am far from the youngest demographic of posters on this board
>adult
yes? i don't see how that is so hard to grasp, i am just as much of a legally qualified adult as you are
>The media convinced me that I was trans.
So you admit you have a very maleable mind and that there is propaganda in the media to turn kids like you into lgbt people?
If I was the one saying this I'd be told to go to /misc/
by that logic every kid who popped their first boner from seeing boobs in a movie was groomed into liking breasts
Seriously? Pete sake when I first saw that episode I just laugh at the absurdity of Gumball trying to get popular in school by acting like a foreign transfer student. And the one thing that episode made you feel was being trans?

Gumball was political but it was simplified for kids to understand since this is a kids show
Idk about that since most blackies keep coping the idea that Darwin is somehow "black"
i think you're seeing things that aren't there, its just a fun cartoon
It is a fun cartoon as you say but there are rare moments about the show tackling politics.
Just in their own way if you catch me

But can you pull off that dress?
only if i got the makeover of all makeovers. but im kind of past my prime.
don't remember these episodes i guess, i mostly watched during the early seasons and have most nostalgia for them

Alright, when are you putting on the dress yourself? Or the Andrea outfit.
when i have more money, i'll totes get more cosplays. but i am broke af rn. all i have for cosplays rn are star butterfly, and kyoko kirigiri but i think i lost that one.
Didn't TAWOG have characters that were gender flipped between the first piece of Gumball animation and an actual pilot?
I predict his suicide in the next 3-5 years
Thread will hit bump limit while actually discussions of comics and cartoons that aren't LGBTQ or political get archived after 10 replies.
twist their head's off
>Tries to commend Gumball for being pro-trans
>The only 'examples' are Richard's transvestitism and Gumball's outfit mishap
What gives?
Have you never heard of allegory or maybe you haven't covered it in high school lit yet?
(NTA) Why would crossdressing be an allegory for trannies when crossdressing itself is it's own thing?
I'm pretty sure she acknowledged it wasn't strictly trans related but another angle to look at how the show tackles gender
I'm not giving a single view to that video
then why are you here?
>Theres a trans episode
No, there’s not. It’s just a fricking joke about a cat wearing a dress.
>She
That’s clearly a man.
>That’s clearly a man.
How do you know?
Looks like a man, sounds like a man.
When are they going to call out Bugs Bunny in the 40s for dressing like a woman?
Because these people are unwell
Stop replying
That's the thing, isn't it. There's a big difference between a guy who enjoys wearing a dress and a guy that cuts off his dick and balls.
oh well, at least their mutilated genitals can't contribute to the human gene pool anymore.
Yeah gumball wearing a dress was a trans allegory, and him and Darwin trying to get anais to wear a diaper in the second episode was trying to get people to develop a fetish

When will political bait be a bannable offense?
Never

Your mind is poisoned
What does this even mean?

that his mind is already made up. He's just baiting you to "confirm" his bias
>What does this even mean?
that he likes his head in the sand
NTA but Jesus, you buttholes are obnoxious about this shit. If I wanted politics, I can turn on the TV or do what b***h ass OP did scrounge around YouTube. But no, it has everyone else's problem when you bring the discourse here.
homosexuals like you help ruin the site
Jannies don't get enough overtime pay for that. That'd cull 80% of threads on any major board.
All media is inherently political
judeo-marxist bullshit
Than all Cinemaphile threads would be banned because all western media these days is political bait.
This sound familia.
It's almost like their only personality is pulling mental gymnastics to associate everything as woke.

homosexuals NEVER realise this for some reason. At least blacks understand that the old blackface cartoon gags are supposed to be making fun of them.
>"all art is political" homosexuals when I politely blow their brains out with a sawed off shotgun
