It was better than Home on the Range, but much worse than Meet the Robinsons or anything else released that decade.

I always thought the promotional art and overall marketing for the film was really fricking cool. Film itself is alright and largely overhated, but the marketing was just so cool. Also that logo is super cute

Disney already made the perfect Chicken Little cartoon 62 years earlier: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p_GaYdae4j0

Apparantly they used actual Mein Kampf quotes for the Fox (this was a Wartime short afterall)

It's not anywhere my favorite but I never minded it, I've virtually never had any complaints, it's a movie that doesn't take itself serious

Maybe not, but it's not that good either.

Is it wrong that I related to the dad character and agreed with him before the end of the movie?

We are here, at the bottom of the hill, in the mud puddle, looking back at the long trail of mud that we just slid down. "That wasn't so bad up there" we think, "not so much mud on the side of the hill".

It's a mediocre disney film that deserves to be forgotten. Maybe it isn't the worst thing in the world, but it's definitely not a "hidden gem".

i recently watched it again and switched it off it's just full of shitty pop culture references that don't hold up and annoying characters

It was better than Home on the Range and had more personality than Brother Bear.

Worst CG movie they produced. Tried to be Disney’s answer to Shrek but missed the point of Shrek. It’s like responding to someone making a parody of you in the most ass backwards “missed the point” kind of way.

Frick off it's just a mid movie, why make threads on it? There is nothing more to be said besides

    >Bimboification
    >Dad is a butthole
    >Characters are unlikeable
    >It's just Disney giving up to copy Shrek

    That's it, every time.

At least it was better than the effort of Dreamworks/PDI of the prior year 2004. At least Chicken Little has some strange charm in it.

I see your point but at least El Dorado was fun and Prince of Egypt was beautiful

Everything is a range between meh and ok, until Shrek 2 of course.

"Chicken Little? More like Chicken Sh*t! This movie is an absolute disaster. The animation looks like it was made by a blind toddler with crayons. The characters are annoying, especially that whiny little chicken. The plot is a joke, and not even a funny one. Disney really dropped the ball with this garbage. Save yourself the agony and avoid this dumpster fire of a movie at all costs. 0/10, would rather gouge my eyes out with a rusty spoon than watch again."

Disney also distributed this british 2005 movie in USA, but it doesn't count as a Disney movie. That would be like saying Spirited Away is a Disney movie just because they released it in USA.

        >from the producer of Shrek
John H. Williams really likes to think himself as the most important producer behind Shrek. In reality, there were more important producers than him (Aron Warner, Sandra Rabins, Penney Finkelman Cox and Katzenberg himself)

Seth MacFarlane ranted about this movie on a Family Guy DVD commentary saying it was 9/11 fearmongering propaganda to change the story so that Chicken Licken was right about the sky falling, when the original story was about how Chicken Licken's alarmist reaction to getting hit on the head with an acorn led to him forming a panicked mob that get taken advantage of and are all eaten by Foxy Loxy.
