You're supposed to match the subtitle file with the same type of movie file. You know those silly letters and numbers at the end of your torrent like "WEB-DL.DDP5.1.ATMOS.H.264-EVO"? Yeah, you get the subtitle file that matches that... fricking ROOKIE!

I know but I still can't find subs for 90% of what I watch, nor can I find it on any of the ffree streaming sites.

          >just turn your TV up louder
The way the audio is mixed nowadays is dialogue whispers and gigantic BOOM for every sound effect.

No shit. It's because the soundmixers mixed it for surround sound speakers like 5.1 and such. Stop watching movies with the TV speakers only, you fricking idiot.

      Listen to this post
      >SubtitleEdit for .srt editing
      >EasySubtitlesSynchronizer for .ass files

You open program and click "Synchronization" at top. Click "Adjust all times". You can now sync while video is playing. Hit floppy disc save button to apply.

This is why VLCsub is a lifesaver. Don't have to bother with any of that gay shit, and can just download subs until I get the right one, and it's usually first try.

Pirate streaming sites nowadays have HD quality streams with subtitles in multiple languages. Why do you do this to yourself?

I only download movies with subtitle files.

I actually prefer to use a 720p TV stream over waiting for downloads because it has subs burned into it.
