I don't get the reference.
one piece ending
hmm looks like ancient indian burial ground artifacts, guess ill take them. what could go wrong?
half way through ep4
feels like im the one whos cursed
i call it The Worst because every character is a bit much
Nathan going hard on the hair dye these days
>ash n whit
I thought Ash was the one on the right
Could Whitney and Asher have made it work if he didn’t get yeeted off this planet?
Emma Stone was so fricking good in this
Does this counts as sex?
yes that's what libs mean when they tell you to have sex
does emma stone not have nipples?
afraid not
"English, Scottish, and Irish ancestry.”
She’s a Scotch Pancake. It’s a thing.(i.e. Flat with a little berry in the middle) They’ll come in with the babies, and her skin will stay perfect. It’s what gingers exchange their souls for.
go look at the clips from her recent movie Poor Things
get to see the nips and some bush, though bush is probably a merkin
i just wanna live in the future where i can live in my own VR universe with a harem of shaved emmas (some would say on the younger side)
her ribcage is more erotic than her non-existent breasts
Wow.
I think I'm done with porn, guys.
Sex is embarrassing and cringe to watch.
I'm going to go and re-evaluate what I'm doing with my life.
when was she ever not
I don't think Dougie was actually guilty over anything
I think he knows the importance of image and practices crying to himself in his room
this would be a reasonable hypothesis if we didn't see him acting like a sad loser over and over again.
Emma stones character really fascinates me, shes such a narcissistic controlling frick but is repulsed by Asher but him worshiping her is exactly what she wants. Its like a vicious circle of hate and disgust but she wants him around?
codependency is a helluva drug. if you've been in a relationship with a NPD b***h and found yourself in a rut where you had to kiss her ass a little bit more than normal, these types of interactions should feel at home.
The only codependency happening here are the dwindling number of Nathan ball washers who still ride this guy's microdick despite him not making a good episode of television or film since the rehearsal s01e01.
stfu pussy homosexual
She is repulsed by him and yet he is the only person that will feed her narcissistic ego. The moment she realizes this role can be replaced by her child, she no longer has a need for him and hes yeeted into space.
or they just injected a buttload of morphine into her spine.
>The moment she realizes this role can be replaced by her child, she no longer has a need for him and hes yeeted into space.
fuggg
It's supposed to be ironic
She tries her best to create this image of a selfless saint, charitable to all and accepted by everyone
But the only person that doesn't see through her bullshit and is actually fooled by the image she resents
hoist by her own petard
oh you sweet, naive little puppy.
the world is going to eat you alive.
nope, i have a gf and i'm make sure to never be submissive in front of her, ever. its a conscious effort but its the only way to keep them in line
She's a liberal woman.
Oh boy, another tv show featuring a neurotic israelite
The curse is all the fourth wall breaking scenes that didn't matter.
i wish more shows were imbued with unique traits like that. most creators don't know how to pull it off. it wasn't perfect here, but it was fun.
asher was filming everything so he could analyze it later... hes looking at his crew. they taught him to do that at cornel
It's possible. Either that or aliens.
in my headcanon all the creepy shots are The Curse Entity POV
The curse is the friends we made along the way
I don't know who did the work on this so maybe it's all Nathan, but I'm astounded by the Safdies'ability to create intriguing characters with almost nothing -- this guy is a PE teacher with just a few generic lines but just how these lines are used, how he looks, and how he eats he becomes extremely compelling and rounded. Without ever becoming gimmicky.
>film a guy whos probably not even an actor
>wow le directors wiener so yummy
Funniest scene for me was after the bowling confrontation where he's having an ego wank in the mirror talking about his hot girlfriend and keeps mentioning the other guys moustache.
lol and he's like "i bet your ugly without that mustache" kek
>Do you want to frick the whistleblower's hot wife? huh
This show makes me want to kms
>tfw you've unironically done this at an inprov group
israelite male lead:
>beta cuckhold
>micropenis
jewess lead:
>successful due to nepotism
>caricature of upper class liberals
>minorities see through her fake altruism
I enjoyed it
>the heart of the show is the alcoholic clout-chasing yes man who bullies the protagonist
douglas schecter was a saint
are israelites really becoming THIS self loathing? i know its their thing but this is another level
I don't know about israelites but Nathan definitely comes off as self loathing
if nathan was self loathing the tv shows he makes would only be shit ironically.

Any kinos about white men converting to another religion only to become mobsters

One of the jihadis in Four Lions is a white guy who somewhat fits that description. Wildly kino movie either way
>In a January 2024 interview, Safdie addressed the possibility of a second season, saying, "It's not off the table. There are ideas, but it's definitely too premature to put them out into the world."
We're past the point where I give a frick about preserving kino (except the F13 movies, that franchise can stay dead tyvm) so I would gladly watch another season of these guys doing their thing. This fricking business is a creativity desert anymore.
Someone said it should be an anthology series with the same actors playing different characters and I think that would be fun but I can’t really see any of them besides Benny being versatile enough to pull it off
>Someone said it should be an anthology series
with tim heidecker and tom green
It would be fun to watch Fielder do a completely different character than usual, but I think you're right, not sure if the range is there enough for it to be funny. It would have to be a really good fit, for him and the project.
I wish Benny made more shit. I loved Good Time and Uncut Gems and this a lot. Excellent filmmaking skills. Meanwhile they give 500 million to literal whos who can't direct shit.
Imagine season 2 opens with Dougie doing an interview. He is now a famous UFO/Paranormal documentary filmmaker who got famous with his Asher flying away video
Show would feel very empty without Asher but Dougie and Whitney are great characters so it might work. Seeing the aftermath of Asher's death could be interesting though. You could have something like Whit being hounded by competing documentary crews, one is true crime trying to prove that she and Dougie plotted to kill Asher, while the other is a supernatural show trying to find out why gravity reversed for Asher. Meanwhile Whitney is trying to use the attention to sell her own show where she has to balance exploiting Asher's death while still coming off as sympathetic.
Ultimately season 2 is unnecessary but it would be fun to see how the world realistically reacts to the supernatural finale.
That'd be a fun direction for the show. Fielder can come back shamelessly as Asher's twin brother or something. I picture occasional moments where Espanolaites stop and think it's Asher and get into altercations and what not.
True, having Asher shamelessly come back would fit the tone well and even fits the themes/storyline since Whitney can't get rid of Asher despite wanting to (her own curse of sorts). Frick it, just bring him back as a ghost and lean into the supernatural aspect
You're right, it would fit the tone really well. The Fielder-Safdie vision seems to be taking the mundane, matter-of-fact and squeezing every bit of cringe weirdness out of it as possible without drawing too much attention to it.
Asher’s going to come back down to Earth. Screencap this
what if they have a chad actor play the new reborn asher kek
i dreamt i was watching season 2 and nathan was alive and well. i dont remember what it was about though
Asher should come back as a star child with a new personality and be loosely based on this movie
Asher's twin brother has the same haircut and dresses only slightly differently but he's fully self-aware and doesn't put up with Whitney's shit. Whitney finds herself falling in love with this guy who's the man she wishes her dead spcaebaby ex-husband was. Asher-bro isn't having it though because he's into latinas.
No, Asher-bro is married to an orthodox israeli woman and Whitney tries to break up that family. Orthodox wife played by Katherine Hahn.
cute
is 20k worth the humiliation? she only had to play Horse with someone she despised and then repeat some stuff she didn't believe to the camera.
tfw no injun arthoe gf
I can't imagine absurdist art pays that well unless you're one of the lucky ones who attracts super wealthy "connoisseurs." Yes, the $20K was worth it.
she kept a bit of honor when she dropped her career. but 6 months later she was back at it, featuring in the NYT for "dropping art". I guess when you get a taste of easy life, it's hard to resist.
It turns out the real curse was finding out that there are actually people out there who find this trash interesting or entertaining.
I'm telling EVERYBODY
what is this a magic trick? the plate changes in his hand? how much of this show was bullshit?
wtf i hate nathan now.
no really.
>how many jeans are you stealing, sir?
wtf is pueblo i thought it was like a tribe but google says it means town in spanish?
what the frick was this show even about?
gentrification is really difficult except if you are a nazi?
it was a fricking mess.
the grain was fricking moronic too, i get the style aspect (how could you miss it) but logistically it didn't make sense like who was filming blah blah it was just stupid.
CREDITS DONT NEED GRAIN
>wtf is pueblo i thought it was like a tribe but google says it means town in spanish?
It can mean both
Turns out the curse as the fact no one has nor will ever watch this show, shill.
Why just go on the internet and lie?
>Florence Pugh going nude in Oppenheimer
>Emma Stone going nude in Poor Things
>Post-wall Jlaw going nude in NHF
>Sydney Sweeney's highly hyped romantic comedy has more man ass than breasts
Last year was among the worst regarding nudity from A-listed actresses.
most based character in the show
i love ashers reaction once he leaves
>tell my self depricating comedy workshop leader about my tiny penis
>get mad when he brings it up in class
who was in the wrong here?
If he wanted to talk about it in front of the class he'd have bought it up in front of the class
