it was alright.
Very pretty, cool visuals of how they made the different gods look.
Plot was ok.
Bale was ok.
movie was kind of short winded.
Thor as a character being a comedy relief is a fricking mistake though.
This movie had too much of a comedy tone which completely destroys a serious tone.
Not as good as Ragnarok.
>Eternity scene
Why use an established Marvel thing instead of just making up a wish-granter? That's not what Eternity is. Also, seems like it Thor could access it with Bifrost power he might have wanted to try that when Asgard got blown up, or when the snap happened.
im only saying that due to our desire to see cosmic beings, it was worth the price of admission to see one of their first goes at it.
we got a desired cameo.
Like Dr Strange 2, this isnt a "good movie", its more so an entertaining movie that is enjoyable due to its components, its "cool spots"
>the movie had too much of a comedy tone
This was their problem with Infinity War/End game as well. They make this super serious first act then when it's suppose to be super serious they just do goofy shit for the entire movie till the end. It made no fricking sense.
infinity war, endgame, and even ragnarok pulled off the tone Much much better than this though
If you can keep it 70/30 serious comedy, then you can pull off a serious toned movie with comedy relief.
If you're doing 50/50 fricking forget it.
You can not produce an emotionally consequential epic like that.
unfortunate because it had serious potential with its ideas.
Endgame was literally jokes the entire time though and the ending just felt flat. The only reason it worked is because it was the first time you saw almost everyone from every movie on screen at once. >hahaha fat ass thor
Im not saying it was perfect.
Im just saying that the Comedy to serious ratio was much much better than this new thor movie.
and the length of the movie helps as well.
Not to say that Endgame wasnt way too lighthearted, but atleast its a 2 part movie after Infinity war.
It was their fricking movie too! Why did it fail them?

Good, they both suck and don't deserve to have their characters done justice, whatever that means. Hopefully the next Thor movie has a director that isn't fricking Tessa Thompson so they can off her character for good
>The key to enter Eternity's wish zone is the Bifrost >All gods know that it is located at the center of the universe >No one, not even Thor think to use it during Endgame to wish people back to life

oh almighty not-shenron
please revive my daughter and kill all the evil people in the universe lol

THE END
GUESS I GOT WHAT I DESERVED
I watched in during the weekend with a friend because he insisted. Besides a lot of cringe jokes and some moronic scenes with Thor acting like an absolute moron (worst one was when he was trying to console a bunch of kidnapped children with dumb quips and Heimdall's son told him to frick off because he was making things worse), the movie was alright. Hershlag was kinda cute playing superhero for the most part. The nig dyke was tolerable, much more so than Raganarok and isn't present at all for the final battle. The action scenes were good, except for a final one where Thor shares his powers with little kids and they beat up Gorr's minions, but luckily that didn't last too long. Bale was wasted and his annoying brat daughter becomes Thor's sidekick at the end which I hated. 6/10 overall.
There was literally zero reason to include "All the gods of the universe" or whatever.
Also Zeus didn't die, he told Hercules to go frick up Thor in the next Taika movie. >Imagine leaving before the end credits scene
>universe full of Gods
>not one of them has the power to cure cancer
there's a deleted scene where Jane goes to Wakanda to get healed but M'Baku calls her a cracker and tries to rape her
ME BOMBEY!
Didn't know Raimi wrote a scene for this flick.
Well, there's the God of Cancer and he's more powerful than all of them.
it was alright.

Not as good as Ragnarok.
also, the Eternity scene saved the movie from being mostly a flop.
Hercules looked good too.
Any leaked pics?

i only meant the cameo and the scene visually, not the plot.
How did the cameo 'save the movie' when it wasn't, look aside, anything like Eternity?
well, i said saved the movie from being a flop.

ThorBros... Oh No...

Why are you fricking doing this? Do you hate women for some reason?
>Do you hate women
Yes
>some reason
No
its a film not a watch
Then go rewatch it.
>Thor can give anyone Thor powers with Zeus' weapon
wtf?
>The key to enter Eternity's wish zone is the Bifrost
>All gods know that it is located at the center of the universe

It can only grant minor wishes
Based on what? And if that was true then there was no danger in Gorr getting there, was there?
>minor wishes
>Zeus says that Gor could literally erase all Gods with it
Odin did it with the hammer.
No, you’re just a gay moron.
Why didn't Odin wish to defeat Hela?
Jane is like Barbara Gordon all over again. Like just not believable that they can't cure cancer with all the tech that Wakanda has or Stark has.
Living Tribunal could probably beat Eternity, huh?
Gorr makes more sense in this movie than in his own saga.
What?
>guy who cares about his family and kills butthole gods is... LE BAD

I liked the scene where they discover Gorr's little hut and some papers where he drew his plan like a moron.
I watched in during the weekend with a friend because he insisted. Why aren't any of you buttholes talking about what they did to Jane and Valkyrie?
Jane's story was comic accurate (albeit very condensed), and most people despise Valkyrie
Why couldn't they have just gone to Olympus? Why did it have to be Godopolis. Literally makes less than zero sense.
Maybe Olympus = Godopolis in MCU? Funniest thing is Zeus getting killed and no one intervenes.
There was literally zero reason to include "All the gods of the universe" or whatever.
Also Zeus didn't die, he told Hercules to go frick up Thor in the next Taika movie.
>Imagine leaving before the end credits scene
>watching kids movies
