Agreed. It's content, no better or worse then any other. People that try to act like like they're to good for some content but not others are really just pretentious atp.
I was unaware people hated it. I was avoiding Cinemaphile for a while and just enjoying Cinemaphile media without any input from anyone's opinions. This is one of the things I enjoyed during that period but many of the plot points have been forgotten.
Why do people dislike it?
I think Nick Fury is severely underutilized and a show about shape shifting aliens infiltrating earth and high up positions and could he anyone should play into that paranoia instead the show refuses to take the kiddy gloves off and instead just tells you whose who ruining any sense of mystery.
the only interesting shit about the comic is that everybody could be a Skrull, you shouldn't make Secret Invasion with the fricking Don Cheadle only.
oh yeah the show heavily implying Don Cheadle has been a skrull since civil war is fricking stupid too
Good points. Nick was the MC but somehow still took a backseat to the cadre of literal whos present throughout the story. And as for the lack of paranoia, now that you mention it, I did think the same at the time.
I just don't like Cheadle in general. I.M. Weasel lookin' motherfricker
The majority of the anger I saw was over Cheadle and Clarke.
It was boring and cheap
So's a go with yer mum, m8
boring perhaps, but cheap, no. it cost Marvel $212.6 million dollars. Which outside observers noted as being really really high for such a show.
They had to reshoot most of it.
> $212 million dollars
>still had to use a fricking AI-generated intro sequence
beyond the 'secret invasion has an ai generated intro!' i didn't see any discussion of this at all.
I dropped all the D+ shows after Episode 2, I'm not interested in any shit they could produce anymore, I almost did it with Willow.
I liked it more than I guess half of the other D+ shows. Some of those were actively bad, SI doesn't really make me feel any which way
>e seething hatred
I didn't even see that, in fact I didn't hear anything about it at all.
People wanted cool spy thriller staring Sam Jackson.
What they got was well, not that. Too much focus on game of thrones chick. Too much focus on his relationship to skrull chick.
It all gets resolved quite neatly. The world doesn't really change as a consequence.
Part of the reason the eternals is negatively viewed. Literally nothing of consequence.
