It had a few laughs ala TG style as opposed to Scandi ep where the stunts were and seemed too scripted. Even if they were always scripted there was a different level of execution.
>powerslide some ferrari as your "job" >be a c**t >come to some bumfrick hotel at ten in the evening >kitchen is closed >be a c**t >punch some rando crew member who had nothing to with the situation
if he was so happy then why didn't he report the assault and why didn't he press charges
You can't rewrite history with your compromised wikipedias, the lockdowns happened, clarkson got fired by a happy BBC and a gaylord irish producer baiting his righteous left hook, you can't erase my memories.
Yeah, it wasn't him being a violent primia donna b***h, it was everyone else's fault.
If he didn't want to get punched then he shouldn't have promised the telly ape steak tbqh >mr clarkson, my may, mr hammond, i know your 10 hour film trip has been long but don't worry, our hotel is just ahead and warm food and bed awaits you >teehee just joking of course the hotel chef's gone home they finish at 6 haha sorry teehee
He could have just said ahead sorry lads it's only crew sandwiched because the hotel messed up. Just a stupid producer
my friend if you're making millions from doing stuff other people would pay for and you have to miss one hot meal only to spaz out like a paris hilton diva you are not close to being a good man in my book
I doubt in all the years the 3 + BBC crew have been on foreign road trips and shenanigans that it was the first time that they've missed a hit meal enough for clarkson to just up and smack someone. It must have been more.
I still watch and still enjoy it but it has become glaringly obvious they're getting old and aren't able to full commit to the shenanigans anymore. It's getting more and more phoned in and scripted. Sucks. Are there any other "friends doing stupid shit" shows with chemistry this good? Impractical Jokers is pretty close.
They're too old, it's too scripted, the chemistry isn't there. I would say they're too rich and famous which should really be a factor for most shows but for Top Gear when they did these things they were always willing to get down and dirty, begrudgingly so and protesting the fact in a comedic style but they'd do it. Now, Clarkson and May are too old for this, and as such don't do much that won't inconvenience them.
>Be Clarkson >Rally against the stupid rules of the EU for years and years and make it part of your t.v. personality >Promote yourself as being a Patriot for Britain and England >Brexit referendum >Campaign to stay in the EU >Tell people he feels "European and not British"
It was the best special we've had since Seamen
For my money it's Seamen > Eurocrash > Carnage a Trois > Lochdown >>> A Massive Hunt >>>>>> A Scandi Flick
nah
nah
It was just ok
It had a few laughs ala TG style as opposed to Scandi ep where the stunts were and seemed too scripted. Even if they were always scripted there was a different level of execution.
daily reminderr that if that moronic irish PRICK had just gotten jezzah a WARM STEAK we couldve had another FIFTEEN YEARS of top-kino
i like grand tour but its not the same
Yeah, it wasn't him being a violent primia donna b***h, it was everyone else's fault.

frick clarkson
>rando crew member
no he was a producer and he was very happy to get jeremy fired as the BBC had been wanting to axe him for over a decade
you're standing up for pic related, you're no friend of mine
>as the BBC had been wanting to axe him for over a decade
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Top_Gear_controversies
Is that why they defended him dozens of times? Imagine getting fired from a company that covered up for Jimmy Savile for several decades

>It must have been more.
The head of the BBC at the time, Danny Cohen, REALLY hated clarkson
It's been boring since about season 15 of original Top Gear, and it declined in quality after 10
How could it decline from 10 when 12 was the best one?
it's the same adventure film they've made 20 times
Yup. Worst one of the Amazon years.
No and they’re pretty clear on why. Too old to do arduous trips, too high profile to go somewhere risky.
They're getting a bit too old now and they're clearly phoning it in. Just be grateful we got so many years of kino.
OP is impotent
>tfw enjoying May and Clarkson's solo shows more
>tfw he has no feel
Fatty
All James does now is hawk his gin

the museum bit was good but hammonds crash was too scripted to be funny
I liked it. It isn't great, maybe it's not even good but I've enjoyed it enough to know it's not boring.

They should do a finale where they compare golf carts or riding lawn mowers, old farts
The premise of the episode pretty much nailed it, what is there really left to do they could realistically attempt?

James has also never got over result of the UK Brexit referendum.
Good
Exactly, their hypocritical stance and being friendly with a hated politician had the exact opposite effect of what they intended.
May's cooking show clears
