the problem is it had no real planning. contestants get eliminated only by whoever does the worst at a challenge. because of this there is no real incentive for players to group up to form alliances to target others like a big brother or survivor because the players on those vote each other out. it also results in a lot of down time waiting for a new challenge to keep things moving when they could be scheming against each other.
the producers even said they could team up to try to get someone to lose a challenge and when two players actually did during the baby challenge, Jason announced in front of everyone that those two were the ones behind it and they can't do that again
they weren't even allowed to get into fights or arguments without a producer coming up and shutting it down immediately.
and shocker, the fan favorite "won" and they just happened to make the show the most money and second place was a plant.
I think there needs to be more incentives to get players to make alliances and target each other which is why have one week be a challenge elimination and then the next they're allowed to vote someone out but no one can know who voted for whom or something. or have challenges like the one with taking care of the baby but allow them to frick with each other to get other teams to lose and be up for elimination

it was fine. it was entertaining at moments but there were a lot of times where absolutely nothing was happening. ill probably tune in for an hour ish a day for season 2 but it's nothing groundbreaking. the edited documentary will probably be better but it was really just fine.
