its just a way to cash out from moronic conservacucks who would pay for their childrens tickets and generate mandatory revenue out of soicucks for muh fantasy /sci fi
It doesn't matter how family they feel, I don't believe for a moment that the natives can forever prevail over the invaders. It's simply not plausible. If he keeps setting movies on Pandora, eventually it all ends in the Na'vi opening casinos and using iPhones on their reservation.
It would be a tragedy to follow it to its logical conclusion, but it would be an interesting show to watch. Humans are unassailable, and there will always be more to replace any losses. The Na'vi kidnapped back to Earth will be the lucky ones. Those on Pandora will be driven from one location to another until they eventually live somewhere unmanagable. It's actually hard to imagine Pandora having any locations that aren't paradise.
This movie is real and is actually coming out? Avatar was like 13 years ago, who the frick cares? Did anybody want a sequel to this other than Cameron?
It's actually plagiarized from an obscure 50's sci fi story about a paraplegic guy telepathically controlling an artificial blue alien body to explore a hostile planet. Thievin' Jim strikes again!
No. That is literally why he shouldn't get any of the credit.
Unless you can prove undoubtedly that James Cameron had read his material back when he pitched the idea initially, you wouldn't even have a case.
Bros I want to learn the way of water. Is the way of water drinking water while I sit in water and then pee my water into the water. Is that the way…of water?
100% it will make more than the first one. Hype is already building big time and the release is still months away. And in September we will get the rerelease of the first movie. The 4 weeks before release with tons of clips and TV spots and interviews and product tie-ins and all sorts of promotional stuff. This will be a societal event like Infinity War, Endgame, and of course the first Avatar. This will hit $3 billion.
Not with that attitude.
Are the Navi italian mafia now? Family this, family that...
I'm almost certain that by the middle of this next movie the h*mans has bombed another one of their homes and so all they have are eachother.

Are they saying you can only watch the teaser trailer in theaters.

It would actually be interesting to see humans actually succeeding in colonizing at least a region of Pandora and see the ramifications of that.

they'll be sent to the res
They will own the casinos with the tallest doorways.
How come Navi's are humanoid?
Superior structure. We have the capacity to create any other form for robots, but for general purpose humanoid is the go to.
In nature, most things are gradually evolving into the form of a crab. Apparently, it just works.
what about us + another set of arms. wouldn't that be even better
Because nobody wants to see a movie about a dude falling in love with an octopus.
I saw that in japan once and it was ok
watch the movie to find out!
Because they’re move frickable basically. Cameron basically admitted this kek
Considering the NON STOP MARKETING on Cinemaphile half a year before it comes out I'm sure it'll do fine.
It will do fine because it has Disney backing it. Disney will make sure that it makes money.
If Disney cared about money they wouldn't have taken a giant shit on their multi-billion dollar IP that they bought
Take your meds
It'll do great if it doesn't get Disneyed.
Who cares?! unless you're getting a cut from it. Stupid morons
This movie is real and is actually coming out? Avatar was like 13 years ago, who the frick cares? Did anybody want a sequel to this other than Cameron?
Looks like shit Will be suprised if it hits 100 million
How hard is Disney going to shill it? Won't it compete with their other established properties?
That sounds like a tagline for a new Fast & Furious movie.
look again homosexual
it already did
>1,5 billion
Wut
It won't make one or five billion.
it will make 4 billion
Oh yay, more blue FernGully
Even before the first film came out, I called it "Dances With Fern Gully Avatars" to annoy my friends who were hyped for it.

Poul Anderson should definitely receive credit for Avatar. It doesnt matter if it was conscious or unconscious, he thought of the idea first.
No. That is literally why he shouldn't get any of the credit.
Unless you can prove undoubtedly that James Cameron had read his material back when he pitched the idea initially, you wouldn't even have a case.
Luckily for Cameron that author is dead instead of living, israeli, and famously litigious.
Funnily enough. Ellison is being forgotten by mainstream sci fi because he didnt cement his ideas into novel form. The short story is dead.
this homie can't spell his name how is he a writer
that looks like an andalite
revolutionary groundbreaking
Bros I want to learn the way of water. Is the way of water drinking water while I sit in water and then pee my water into the water. Is that the way…of water?
i will experience the movie from the comfort of this chair after i torrent it
engagement metrics so far put it on par with the force awakens so it most likely will, plus has enduring and overarching global appeal.
It won't even make 500 millions. DOA
3.5 morbillion easily.
correct, not a cent under 2 billion
if you root for this movie to break records, you root for disney
think about it before you shill it
Was the first one even that good or was it just the CG for the time. Didn't bother seeing it. Seemed dumb.

will make 3-5x the amount Top Gun Maverick made AND will result in a resurgence, nay, renaissance of 3D cinematography
screenshot this, Cameron ALWAYS wins
I won't watch it. Shills tongue my anus.
Its 99% paid shills, 1% of morons who do it for free
Zoomers are going go to tear this apart calling it cringe and make memes about it ironically. It’s over.
the trialer was so underwhelming that I dno't think more than a million people will go see it
that's fine as long as they see it at least 100 times each
I have never met a single person who likes Avatar.
>,
remember when avatar released and all those people committed suicide, to get back to the planet in the movie? weird, huh
ABATAP PLEASE COME BACK! THIS BOARD NEEDS YOU NOW MORE THAN EVER!!
I'm gonna watch it just because I missed seeing the first one in 3d. My mom loved it and raved about it for a while, so I'll take her too.
CAN'T VAMOOSE THE ROOST
Why wouldnt the marines just nuke them from orbit when they come back?
Literally a nuke? Because they want to dig for unobtainium in those locations.
Just slap a spare rocket onto a medium asteroid and send it to the planet.
No radiation issues.
>it's a film about family
I wouldn't even be surprised if it didn't pass the billion dollar mark.
I saw Avatar, Inception and similar big blockbuster movies in theatre and they were jaw dropping experiences.
Then you see it a second time on the small screen and it is VERY underwhelming. Oh wow Dances With Wolves x Fern Gully 2, who gives a shit.
>disney
