did this show get all wokie too?
i havent watched it in 15 years
last thing i heard about it was some shit about fans are just as bad as people making stuff "lame and gay" mega soft balling disney on how they fricked everything good up
doesnt seem worth watching if its turbo leftoid'y
i bet they dont even do racial humor anymore

It's clear the creators have just sort of lost interest in the whole thing because it's not 2000 anymore and cartoons where characters say frick and shit and brutally murder eachother are a dime a dozen. The last I checked they were doing a season-long arc about Randy owning a weed farm where the whole joke is they know the audience hates the bit so they keep doing it.

Yes but not quite as bad as Sneedsons or Family Goy, check out the Tolkien episode, it's actually pretty funny (compared to their modern output atleast) but the ending makes it clear the show has literally gone full circle, being the very thing they made fun of back in the day

Did anyone here watch the latest special they made last year, it's supposed to be a parody of woke diversity casting but I have a feeling they're gonna just handle it with kid gloves like they have for so long now

I just spelled it that way so he'd know which episode I'm referring to, lots of episodes with Token over the years

          [...]
It genuinely makes me wonder how many viewers are truly that young or that stupid to either not get the joke or are too afraid/autistic to sway from his "official" spelling.

it was literally that. matt and trey have long been out of touch so they literally had nothing interesting or clever to say about it. they basically just repeated everything youtube critics have been saying for years...
        >kathleen kennedy made everything woke
        >taking white characters and making them diverse is lazy
        >disney is going broke (cuz they went woke)
they also take shots at the multiverse but they're not really funny. at the end they did the usual south park fencesittng thing and pushed back at the other side (kathleen kennedy only made so many woke movies because of trolls writing hate mail). overall it just wasn't that funny.

there's also a subplot where the handymans all are millionaires since people don't know how to do anything because of ai. it kinda fell flat considering ai is just a glorified chatbot / image generator.

Dude, the show STARTED as nothing more than racism stereotypes and elementary school level fart jokes. Like, seriously, how old are you? South Park has gone from nothing more than David Hasselhoff + Andy Gibb and racial slurs to EMMY AWARD WINNING social commentary. Pointing out a couple jokes from out of 325 episodes, from across more than a quarter of a century of broadcasting, doesn't validate your opinion that Trey Parker isn't funny because he lives in California.

          People really are stupid...

are Stan and Kyle ever meant to be funny? theyre always basically there to be the moral whiney leftygay side to whatever the based and redpilled funny characters are in favor of, Kyle in particular. basically the Lisa Simpsons of the show

stan episodes were the best episodes when south park was actually good. stan used to be an ambivalent everyman who had minimal reaction to utter insanity.

Why do you kids who conflate this into political platformism act like it's literally just that?
South Parth is a parody on trending topics and people designed around
    1. find an example to parody
    2. mock the FRICK out of it
    3. end the satire by using the children (usually Stan) to explicitly state what just happened and why everyone exaggerates it beyond any useful purpose
    4. the "mature" parents don't care and ignore it because they're morons, just like the entire mass public

I swear, the people who "hate" this show are genuinely offended by it.
Did you know this show has reformed a lot of outside practices in the 26+ years it's been running? A show about ramming gerbils into men's anuses (no, I'm not talking about Richard Gere) has been able to end slavery.

I have the DVD for the season they introduced tegridy. I remember them saying on the commentary that they had no intentions of ending tegridy and that it'll last until the end of the show. I really don't know why, literally everyone hates it.

It has no spark of creativity left. It's a formulaic currents events show like The Daily Show. If Matt and Trey don't care anymore I don't blame them for taking the money but they should have just switched to making movies.

I've been watching a bunch of old South Park because a bunch of people were saying that it actually always sucked and I just grew up. Even Trey Parker said he'd delete the first 4 seasons if he could.
Nah, the earlier episodes are still the breasts. It just sucks now.
